Okay Cbnloo and Jonlyn, you and your Realpukies are not helping my diet one bit. I'm sure that just looking at those yummy treats has the potential to derail me somehow. I mean Lemon Poppyseed, Jonlyn?! *grabs delicious cookies and calorie laden cake through the computer screen* Aaaahhhhhh! *runs away weeping*

That's quite alright. She brought along lots of candy. EYE candy that is, and it's calorie free.

I LOVE those gorgeous blues. The photo nearly glows.

I wonder if we could use some other items for BJDs. There is a sailor uniform. Or looking glases. Or bags. Suspenders. Belts. Some pieces of furniture. Socks. Schoes. And gloves!!! Anybody knows the mesurements of those 1/6 scale figures?

I'm wondering the same thing, like hats? Anybody ever try it?

 

The hats should fit. 3-4 inch heads. The rest is scaled for actionman/ken/barbie sized dolls.

 

Have to find some of that stuff in Europe.

Meanwhile, to celebrate the day: a pixie witch mixing something very strange in her kettle.

So many cute pictures!!! My poor wee kaka is still in the box he came in as I just haven't been able to bond....all of the adorable pics of this mold are making me want to get him/her out & give it another go. I also have a really cute Aki that tkdesigns modified...need to get busy with my camera.

Jonlyn: Awww, don't give up on your litle Kaka just yet. He/she might surprise you. Can't wait to see your new Aiki!

 

Hey Coco....I think my kaka needs a face up other than the default...I am not happy with the color of his lips. Todd (tkdesigns ) & I ordered ours together & he has done the cutest face up on his....I will ask him to post a photo of him. I just love what Todd did with Aiki for me too.... what a mulit-talented guy!

 

Jonlyn: That's very true. You may very well like Kaka better with a custom face. I can't wait to see pics!

i fell in love with smidge (soso) as soon as she popped out of her box, for some reason beezie (kaka) was more of an acquired taste. but she grew on me and i wouldn't give her up now.

 

I was instantly in love with soso too auntbear. My tyni & my kaka however were not love at first sight. Keebler (my tyni) had a wonderful face up by winternight & now I am very happy with the wee silly guy. Guess I need to let poor kaka out of his box & give him a chance to work his charms on me.

 

It's a good thing your kids arrived when they did, fayette! I'm almost out of treats. Mr Magoo and Ms Muffet have handed out to 62 kids already! That's twice last years count and they're still coming. Eeek! This might be the first year I have to turn off the lights and hide!

we had a slow year, only 16 kids. that means my little ones are going to get waaaay too much leftover candy. i wonder if they really did sneak out and scare off all the kids?

 

People do buy the newline shoes for Planetdoll mini Riz.

 

I meant to reply to this earlier Jonlyn. Try taking your little Kaka out of the box and doing something for/with him. Both my daughter and I have found that we feel more bonding/affection for whichever doll we happen to be working with at the time. I'm pretty committed to clothing all of my dolls on my own so I tend to spend time alternating between each of them, working at making them outfits. Never fails that whichever is getting the most attention at the time is a "favourite" for the time being at least.

Jonlyn: I totally agree with Wovenflame. Think of your dolls as friends. If you don't spend quality time with them, you will never really get to know them. That makes all the difference. I hope things work out for Kaka and you.

No, she didn't take lessons. That was the problem, LOL.

Last weekend we were at a Halloween DollPa.



She had a blast with this borrowed car, driving around, sneaking sweets and scaring ladybugs away.
Someone was so nice and gave her a lollypop. She's still holding it, even after the trip back home.

 

Thanks for the suggestions wovenflame & Lisa.....sadly, poor little kaka & I have spent some time together trying on clothes & wigs to see if we could decide on a gender & then start thinking about what type of face up I would like to try on him/her. I am going to give it another go when I have time to myself & Kaka will have to go along when Todd & I get together next. Todd has such a good eye & I am sure he can suggest some options to try. I may have to let him look for a new home if things don't click for us soon as it is a shame to have such a lovely little guy stuffed away in a box when someone else could be enjoying him.

Loved all of the wonderful Halloween pics & Tari in the VW is way cute...I have had many Beetles in the past so have a real soft spot for them.

Harey: From what I understand, they go to the graveyard--sounds creepy! Well, I know the old MPs are graveyarded--not sure about the old threads. I guess they are still accessible because you are supposed to be able to search for info. from them. You can't do anything but read them, though.

 

This little Soso knows how to relax and enjoy life. The girls enjoyed a day of birthday suit celebration. Except maybe the Lucky girl. She is definitely pinkER than usual. ~blushing~ I will be sure to give her something adorable to wear next time.

The other two think clothes are just a distraction, especially when you are as cute as they are.

I just might have a shot at most improved photographer. >_< Couldn't get a good focused picture out of this old camera to save my life. Sort of starting at the bottom. heh.
