Resin Comparison Dollzone WS, N-Pink, N-Yellow and... anything

Please, please, after searching for over an hour, could someone please show me a comparison between a Dollzone head (MSD) and a DIM NS (Happy sized, not minimee!) body?

I am hoping to find out which head resin (white, normal pink, normal yellow) best matches the DIM NS.

Please help!

I'm saving up for a DollZone Megi-2 mold, and I know that he has quite a few skin color options. I wanted to see the different skin choices in different lights, and possibly comparison shots of the different skintones (if you have more than one of the same mold).

I want to make a Hybrid with Dollzone Wing 2 Head and the Doll Family Body.
Please schow me pictures if you match these companys.
I prefer the Normal Pink Skin but I take the other skintones too.

 

I have a Bobobie Sprite head on Dollzone normal pink body, and a Doll Family Lance, also normal pink skin. And, well... they do not much, at all

Has anyone got a comparison of this? I love SSDF Cloud for a character I am planning, but I can't stand the body. I really like the Doll-Zone 65cm body, but would the resins match? I am looking at the Luts Real Skin Normal, not the white skin

 

I just ordered jointed hands from Dollzone but now I have to choose the color that matches my Souldoll Madalyn normal skin. Who can tell me,which matches better: normal pink or normal yellow?

I'd probably go with normal pink.

This is my deductive reasoning based on what I discovered when I was trying to match migidoll resin.

Migidoll resin is generally close to souldoll resin. Also, depending on the batch, it may be pretty close to dollmore resin, or DOD resin.

In the dollmore resin matching thread, there's a comparison of dollmore to dollzone ns-p. Apparently the match is pretty close.

I spoke to another user here that said her dollzone ns-p was a near perfect match for a dod ns head.

Lastly, I have seen at least 2 examples of a migidoll head on a dollzone ns-p resin (and I ordered a ns-p body for one of my boys, but it hasn't come in yet).

SO! If migidoll is comparable to souldoll, and is comparable to dollzone ns-p..It's say that souldoll and dollzone ns-p should match ok.

There may be a slight color difference, and you may need to blush the hands/body a touch..but you should be best with ns-p.

Just make sure you check wrist measurements and make sure the hands will fit.

Dollzone Yellow skin is a very dark and warm yellow. I really don't think it will match Souldoll at all. Dollzone Normal skin pink matches Volks Pureskin, so I think it will also match Souldoll normal.

Any one knows something about the wrist measurements of SoulDoll - DollZone? Does anyone have DZ jointed hands on a SoulDoll?

 

I know the souldoll double BOY wrist is about 5cm. I don't know the girls. And I don't know the DZ wrist measurement (other than the 70cm boy measurement which is about 7cm. I've been trying to figure out if my boy can get dollzone hands as well, and if I should order the boy ones or the girls).

Hello! I was looking at Withdoll dolls today and was wondering if their Ws would match up to a dollzone ws? please post any comparison photos if anyone has any! I would love to see!

The parents are Dollzone Beauty White from 2006 and 2007 and the girl with black hair is "white" from this year. Beauty White is a creamy color, the other white is slightly pink. The tiny wig is pure white to compare.

 

Hi, I'm looking for a comparison pic of dollzone's white and pink skins ... I did find an old request on this forum but all the pictures were gone (picture not found messages were in their place). I only have until the 25th of this month to decide which colour to go with so would be very grateful for any help

Dollzone WS is pretty close to AoD white and Doll Leaves white. ResinSoul/Bobobie will yellow to be pretty close. My RS Lu WS matches my DZ/DL hybrid almost perfectly, but the hybrid is less than a year old and my Lu is 2.5, so it takes awhile. RS starts out paper white. Ringdoll old WS is close as far as color, but RD old WS is translucent and DZ is not.

Dollzone NS-Y matches AoD NS-Y almost perfectly.

DZ NS-P is pretty close to AoD and slightly darker than Asleep Eidolon, but not too bad. I have seen NS-P hybridded with BBB/RS NS, but DZ seems to be slightly lighter and pinker, though it varies from batch to batch.

DZ tan and AoD tan are fairly close, but not perfect.

I have heard that Doll Chateau is a sister company to DZ so should match, but I have not seen one in person, so I'm not sure.

I think it depends on what flavor of Elfdoll head you have. I have an Elfdoll June head that is really quite pink and definitely doesn't match the one DZ yellow I have. Nor could I blush it to match. I'm going to order a DZ or Impldoll pink body for her. (June also doesn't match Impldoll's "yellow", which is called real skin.) But in the Elfdoll hybrid thread there are photos of other Elfdoll heads on DZ yellow bodies and they're perfect matches.

OTOH I suppose you could get the DZ yellow, just put your head out in the sun for a bit if it's too pink. That should bleach the pink out of it.

 

The head's a brand new (2011) Yuan normal skin ... but I'm also looking for future reference as well as I have 3 reminisce heads that will need bodies (when finances allow lol) ... but Yuan's definately the one that gets hers first

 

Bump ... for a Dollzone pink (preferably recent) against an Elfdoll normal or homme skin? There's not much difference between my normal and homme skin heads so I figure if I can find a match for one it will work for the other with a bit of blushing

Here you go. I have DZ white, normal pink, and normal yellow, as well as AoD normal pink, Soom cream white, and Dream of Doll, though all my Dollzone dolls are a little yellowed, and so is my DoD. These pics are probably a good representation of what all the Dollzone colors become when they reach their natural 'fully matured' color.

I don't know exactly how old Doyle, my WS Yuu is, but I bought him secondhand, basically unused, in Aug 2010. I recently bought brand new DZ jointed hands, and he is significantly yellower than they were, but as you can see, still vastly paler than my NS DZ dolls. My NS-Y Feilian is the limited bunny/kitty eared one that DZ released in 2008, and my NS-P Bunny is the event bunny from xmas 2007 (I'm not the first owner of either). I'm the second owner of my DoD Calla - her first owner said she was made in 2009. I bought new high heel feet for her from DoD and they were definitely pinker than she was. She's not really yellower, just a faded/paler pink. And of course my Appini is the MD release, from early 2010. I'm her second owner, but the first owner had only kept her in her box before I bought her in Jan 2011.

I'll be visiting a friend next weekend who also has Iplehouse NS, Iplehouse Grey, Soom Tawny, Soom NS, and Limwha NS (and is also currently in possession of my IoS WS Jaguar because she's blushing him) if you want me to snag any additional specific comparisons.

This is a long shot, but if anyone has a Minoru World doll and a DZ NS-P doll, I'd love to see that comparison.

 

I jsut took a big color ring shot of all my NS dolls, including Dollzone NS-P, so I'm spreadig the wealth lol. Dollzone sample is from a Deer girl, so '11 I think?



The picture makes it look like Luts and IOS might match, but really DZ is darker & pinker

 

Anyone have and Semi-older Soom NS (2010 preferably) and a Dollzone ns-y comparison picture?

 

Just wondering if the normal yellow skin for DZ and AoD is comparable, and if anyone can show any pics?

 

I have an AoD/DZ yellow skin hybrid, though they are both older yellow resins and not more recent ones. If I find my camera, would that comparison work? I don't have a more recent DZ yellow skin doll than 2008 though

 

I would really appreciate seeing them! I'm a newbie so I'm not sure how much the resin might have changed in the interim though.

DollZone normal yellow on a Volks Graffiti body from 2010 (Okita 2nd). The DZ resin is a little darker and yellower than the new Volks.

Here's a hybrid I used to own. The head is a DZ Hid in NS-Y, the body is AoD NS-Y. It's very close! The head is at least a year older than the body.

 

I'd like to know which dollzone color matches which iplehouse color, and how closely. Thanks guys!!

I'm looking to get some jointed hands for my boy and since DZ makes them selectively I was wondering if DikaDoll's Normal Yellow would match DollZone's.

I know the older resin (like 2008) from Dikadoll is a good match. Their resin is more. . ."Shiney" more like a plastic look, but the resin color is spot-on. On another note, DZ yellows more rapidly than Dikadoll though.

No problem, unfortunately its a friend of mine who owns the DZ with the hands and he's pink, not yellow, but I've seen them around, and the match is, like, perfect. ^^; There is a thread on jointed hands here in picture requests. That might help more than me.

 

Does anyone by any chance have a Ringdoll in NS that they can compare with either Dollzone's NS-Y or NS-P? :3 I assume it'd match NS-Y better but better ask for photos to be safe, right?

My friend used to have a Dollzone (type 2 body, NS) and I used to have an Iplehouse MSD in NS. Unfortunatly we can't take new pictures for you, but I can tell that at least the Dollzone NS from 2009/2010 is a fairly close match to Iplehouse NS of 2011. I'd say 80%, since Dollzone is a bit more yellow and deeper in colour than Iplehouse. Yet, Iplehouse will yellow a bit and lose its slighlty pinky tone, and then it's a decent match. I hope there will be some people who can provide some pictures to back this up! ^^

I don't know your plans for hybriding, but I can say that putting a Dollzone MSD head on a J.I.D. body will look REALLY odd x'D Their heads are just a tad too small.

 

Does any of Only-Doll's resin colours match, or have somewhat of a similar colour, DollZone's Normal Pink Skin?

I'm going to be working on a hybrid & modded doll over the course of the coming year, and matching the DZ head to the D-Leaves body (aside from being more cost-efficient for me) gets the look that I want for the character I'm shelling.

Does anybody know how the DZ white looks with the Doll Leaves white? I'm perfectly fine with the doll having a faux-"farmer's tan" if his head is a bit darker than his body, lol, but it would be nice to know beforehand.

The Dollzone white is more paper white than the Doll Leaves white, which is a bit creamier, so your head may be a bit lighter than the body. I was already planning to do a more thorough comparison on Friday or Saturday with natural and artificial light, but I'll put this here for now:

All are "white" resin
DZ dragon was made in Nov 2012 - very bright white
DS Flora (brunette) was made in Nov 2012 - slightly creamy white
DS Gabriel (fox hat) was made in Jan 2012 - mellowed creamier white
Gabriel's grabby hand was made in Dec 2012 and it is much brighter than Flora, maybe just variation in resin batches. I'll definitely include these hands in close-up comparison shots.

There seems to be a lot of variation in the Doll Leaves "white" resin. The hands are the best match to the brighter DZ white. I'm not sure if the January 2012 DS white has yellowed or aged to a darker color, or if it's just variation in batches. The difference is subtle in photos, but more noticable in person.

I forgot to do artificial light before I put everyone back together, but it probably would not be very helpful anyway.

I'd be worried if they keep getting brighter. Whether it is really even yellowing or batch variation, I really like the color of my oldest one.

The posing and proportions are really nice too, but those stock hands had to go. They were way too stiff looking and lack detail. I'm going to check on fitting for Dollzone and some other companies for alternate hands that will fit.

I am planning on a DZ and Doll Leaves hybrid too as I ordered a white DZ head (Apple) and it is very cream compared to my white DZ GuoGuo. Both are new in 2012, just different batches. I'm getting a Doll Leaves 1/6 body (now discontinued by the company) and it is 'new' but has been in storage since it was made, so I'm hoping it is cream white. I'll post pictures when it arrives so we'll have another comparison.

The Dollzone girl is only a smidge taller, but her feet are longer, and limbs are thinner. Also, her head is larger than the Narae head.
