I went to a late Halloween doll meet yesterday and my MNF Miyu, Blair, cosplayed Daenerys! That's her and an Iplehouse EID (don't know what sculpt) as Khal Drogo. Check out her dragon eggs that my boyfriend made out of sculpey.
My girl Rhanis is not actually Daenerys. But I admit, she is Daenerys-based in very many ways Only one dragon, though. ...and I am working on a Jon Snow, too.
Daenerys is like my Lonnie....or my Lonnie is like Daenerys??? who knows!!!haha!! but she reminds me of her for sure!![/IMG]
May I present Daenerys DiM Annabeth head on a Zaoll body. Neck needs to be shortened a bit, but I am waiting until summer and I can work outside. The Zaoll body is a very good match, both in colour, size and the general body shape of Emilia. A couple of pictures from when I tried her out on a Unoa body.
Hi, I was redirected from the sewing thread Here is my new dress based on the fashion at King's Landing.
I was commissioned Sansa's wedding dress, except out of a different fabric (red silk) +with some different details, and I though I'd post it here because it's highly inspired from the series. More pictures in my flickr. Red silk dress by yennaibi, on Flickr Red silk dress by yennaibi, on Flickr
Well, I haven't updated in a while, but my hybrid is finally all together and she'll be shipped back from her new face-up and body blushing this Monday. I ended up putting my Cecile head on a Doll Legend body, and because it will be months until I have enough free time to make any of the projects I have lined up for her, I went ahead and bought a blonde wig that I am hoping will be the right color, and it will also ship out on Monday. When my doll and her wig come home I will post photos of her all put together. Hopefully, I can toss together a dress for her, the pattern I have mocked up doesn't seem like it will take too long to sew.
I posted a thread with my Danny yesterday, and I had to search to find this thread because silly me forgot to subscribe to it. Here's a link to my post: http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php/667005-Daenerys-Targaryen-The-Conquering-Queen
I'm wanting to make a Joffrey doll (I seem to be the only person who doesn't completely hate him) and the Souldoll Joelle.D is so perfect, but I usually only get SD sized dolls. Has anyone seen any sculpts as perfect as the Joelle.D that are SD size? If I can't find an SD one I'll just go with Joelle.D, that sculpt looks so much like Joffrey.
I finally got around to making Daenerys a gown: http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php/669592-A-Gown-From-Meereen-MSD I have some scraps left from the shirt and am hoping that my skills will improve as I try to make her some other things.
Slersk, that looks nice. I've been wondering why they haven't used that dress design in the tv show. It's not like they have a problem with nudity, so why not. There was more mention of it's design in the books than most her other dresses too. I'm back here with some sewing of my own too. A Daenerys gown this time. I fell in love with the dress Dany wore in S05E02 and just had to make my own version of it. Especially after I visited the fabric store and found 3 different fabrics that worked perfectly together. This is definitely one of the more interesting designs I've sewn in a while. x3 I cut the silk a little short, but I actually like that it shows more of the underskirt than the original. I'm going to have to test it on my Delf girl and see if she could do a proper Daenerys cosplay at some point. I made it for my Withdoll girl, though.
I finally took pictures recently of my "Rains of Castamere" Game of Thrones inspired costume that I made last year for Dollism Plus NY. You can see the rest of the photos and an explanation behind the gown here
Such an amazing dress / doll. Very well done! Can't say that i am a huge joffery fan, but i would love to see the doll, if you put it together. I was kinda surprised not to see more GOT dolls tbh. I am thinking about doing up a Jon Snow for my boy. Just a costume tho XP
