What are the splits that sher refers to in the new thread introduction?

 

Splits are when two or more people split the cost of a doll for different parts of that same doll.

A new thread and a new start for me!! I just (hopefully!) sold my chocopuki Lily, and am adopting a Sugar!! I adored Lily SO much but as much as I loved her to bits I just never played with her. It was a tough choice, but if the sale goes through it will mean adding Sugar to the family and hopefully a Pukipuki Ante too!!

I finally did it! Since Fairyland released the Merpukis I KNEW I has going to have one someday. And, also, I KNEW I was going to make a photoshoot rendition to one of my favourite Disney songs. So...



If you have a moment and can go and check the whole photoshoot in the DOA gallery subforum (LINK HERE), please tell me, did I manage to create an underwater efect? Does it seem she is swimming?

Took the advice of so many Puki lovers and decided to splurge on a Puki Pong, I'm glad I did as she makes a great addition to my tiny doll family.
Her name is Marrit, here she is with her less than thrilled sisters/playmates Laken and Nymber.

 

aya22, Wow what a perfect colour match between the dress and the little friend.

Did you make the little smocked dresses, Mustangsally? They are really pretty, and at that scale they're also amazing!

 

We're at a new thread already? It seems 13 didn't start all that long ago. Puki's certainly generate a lot of discussion.

haven't had to much going on in the puki department lately, but I just ordered a couple new dresses for avery earlier and I'm on spampy's waiting list so hopefully soon I should be taking lots of pictures of the munchkin since she'll have a whole new wardrobe >3<

I'm finally back around! I just finished reading the old thread when it was being closed and I just noticed that there's a new one! I think the old thread needs a note at the bottom with a link to the new thread.

 

It was a good mail day today!!! Miku is terrified of Spike, but she couldn't stay out of the picture with her curiosity. Spike got a cool new outfit, and everyone got some dolly furniture. The hubby was able to semi-fix my camera, so it mostly works (emphasis on mostly).

Penny and Nikki wanted to stop by for some spam, before they head to the NJ Shore for one day. They are Shore Ready!!

 

did some shopping while I was killing time waiting for my dog zoe to be done at the vet earlier and found a great little outfit for Avery on a dollar store "kelly" type doll

my only complaint would be the one odd little pleat/gather in the front, but I'm thinking I'll add a cute little bow to cover it up

 

I've been awfully apathetic lately because of the heat wave that went through. Either way it kept going even when the heat left XD I ended up sick-ish today but decided to go out a bit ago and take some pictures.

I've been a deadbeat Puki owner lately, hence my absence from the last thread. But I want to inch my way back - it's so nice to see all the cute faces! Some new, some my constant favorites... And all so pretty!

With the help of Smilga's amazing talent, Agnes is preparing for her wedding:


The wig was a bit too loose at first, but with a bit of help from some eye putty, I got it to where I almost like it better than her signature pigtails!

I know I mentioned this last thread, but what do you do if you have a questionable transaction on Etsy? I bought clothes for Cecelia and then the seller disappeared in a way. Store front empty, and they aren't answering messages....

 

I am so curious who the seller is. Because she/he sounds familiar.

 

I, too, have a feeling that I know who you are talking about. If it is who I think it is...isn't she/he always slow?

 

Snap, Alexisbears & I are still waiting for clothes from what sounds like the same seller. I think if you've tried contacting them multiple times (which we have), then the next step is to claim a non-delivery via Etsy. :-(

I think I know who you're talking about, too. I bought some clothes off her and one shirt came to me last week, the other two things to my fiance just today...Which confused me a bit. I'm just glad that they got shipped out before this happened. Her communication was really spotty as I was ordering, though, and it took her forever to ship out the items...

I was wondering why I hadn't gotten any puki notifications... New thread and I completely missed it! Usually Sher posts a notice as the last post in the old thread.
