This is Wig style: E updo E-姬系公主
The side curl and top curl is a separate piece attached to the "bob" portion with a small comb.
Wig size: 8-9
Wig Color: Chocolate Brown
It appears redder in the sunshine than under regular room light. It's a lovely ruddy brown.

The wig is a very yellowy blond (I like it!) and the streaks are much more noticeable in reality, it hardly shows in the photos but she has a dash of orange on the left side of the wig. I might have to trim the bangs a little, but otherwise the size of the wig was great for Unoa.

This wig worked out the best for me personally though it's way too big (MSD size) and the curls just turned into a big frizzy mess. I guess that's just what happens to curly wigs, but I was hoping it'd look nice at least for a little while. I guess the color "dark purple" is just purple and black hair mixed together. I don't actually see any magenta streaks in it at all.

This photo is taken with flash because it captures the "true to life" color much better this way. It's a very cartoony bright fluorescent hot red.

wig style: Ea麻辫 Fresh Orange* MSD (6-7")

This wig has a TINY headcap, I almost couldn't get it on! And my Mei was just swimming in all the other MSD wigs I got. Seems a little inconsistent in the sizing...


wig style: E05 Ivory Gold MSD (6-7")

I am not very happy with this wig. The hairs are stiff as reeds and it doesn't take to styling AT ALL. It also seems like no matter what you do you can see the wig cap through the hair, and there's a tuft that just sticks straight out over her left ear like crazy. I can't really recommend this wig for anything in MSD size at least.

 

I trimmed and styled my E05 wig, and this is about the best I can make it look. I think I'll have to get some wig wax to tame the tuft that juts out over her left ear--I set it in hot water and everything and it just isn't interested in doing anything but making her look like a dope. The bangs were so stiff, they were pretty difficult to trim (hence the uneven mess I wound up with.) Overall, I think I'll just have to get her a different wig. Live and learn

Okay so I tried to get a few images of my wigs but the colors are so complex I can't seem to capture them well

This is my wig from Shelly's last GO. I ... love it so much, it's so soft and it's the perfect red-brown color. sistercuervo explained it perfectly, it's a 'ruddy brown'. In the sun it's redder but also under certain non-natural lights and angles it looks redder.
Wig style: # E62.
Wig color: Chocolate Brown.
Wig size: 1/4 (18-19 cm) 7.3 inches (fits my exactly 7 inch MNF head perfectly)

NOW for the 'fun' wig. I bought it off the marketplace, fiber is just as soft as the other one.
Wig Size: It's a 1/4 MSD wig (not sure which MSD size it is although it fits my 7inch MNF head just as well as the 18-19cm one).
Wig color: I don't know what color it is, I asked the seller but I've deleted the PM because I'm smart like that. But she mentioned something about a purple (going off of memory here but I remember purple because I thought it looked more garnet/wine than purple). However it's a very awesome color. Brown under florescent and even under natural light but if you look at it from the side it's a garnet color. There is one strand of white/cream hair in it that I kept because it's so quirky.
If anyone can guess this color I'd love to know! (I'd love to get another wig style with this color) I thought maybe it was Claret, but it seems browner than that.

This is the wig I mentioned that I had a problem with. The braid is hand-stitched around the wig cap end to end that it made the stretch nonexistent. I re-sewed the braid with the ends about half an inch apart and with the thread pretty loose so that the stretchyness is preserved, and now it fits the doll pretty well.
My only other critique is that the bangs are already trimmed and doesn't at all look like in their pictures.

I finally managed to snap some pictures of our two wigs. The colors are very true to life, as close as I could get.

Notes: This is definitely wider and poofier than I expected. I'm hoping it will relax with a couple good combings. The "blackish green" has a lot of gray in it, as you can see. I'm going to order the wig again in "green black 2" to see if it suits the doll more. As you can see, in this size (MSD, possibly custom sized for his pin head) the bangs are far too long on this doll.

Notes: This is the first wig we have gotten for this doll that has fit her head so perfectly. We previously had a dollmore 8/9 on her head and it was swimming on her. Unlike satyrsmoon, we did not have a problem with the braid keeping the wig cap too tight. It is a bit difficult to get on her, but all this means is that it stays on securely. As you can see, though, the bangs on this wig have the same issue that satyrsmoon had--they do not match the bangs of the wig ordered.

Fortunately, we do not mind the change, but it is a major issue to note. We almost worried we would have to trim her bangs, but it was just a matter of how to position the wig in the end, so I managed to make it work. It should also be noted that Happy Camille's "white" is much nicer than many company whites, that are shiney, stiff, and reflective/silvery. While not entirely the "milk white" I have been told about, it is definitely a beautiful shade.

Nacarat with Mix Orange streaks. This is a really florescent orange, bright and vivid.
Lots of nice dark streaks. The mix is dark brown, orange and some reddish bits. Very nice, especially on the detachable pony tail. This style would look best with a band or crown decoration.

twylight - the mix orange is the base of the wig so what you're seeing is the "Mix Orange." There are few streaks of the "Mix Gold" in the wig. Sadly, that wig didn't work out for me but sharing it with everyone so they know how the wig looks. :'D

Someone might even have that wig in question, I don't know!

That said, you will probably want the following size for your girl: BJD1/3 SD (22-23CM) (around 9.1 inches). Also, your best bet will probably be to join the next group order if you want to ensure reasonable pricing, as I have no clue what the current conversion rate is, or if they even ship internationally from the Taobao site...

Also, in person the purple streaks are a little more noticeable, but not by much. It is a very subtle purple streaking.

The colors are beautiful but the bangs on both wigs are a bit ridiculous - they hang directly in the face and are stubborn enough to resist all attempts at styling. I had to tip both of them to the side. I even used mousse and a hair dryer (which is NOT recommended, as neither of the above wigs are heat resistant!!!) on the E62 just to get it to look as it does above. E70 sits so low on the LTF head, trimming the bangs is not an option. I had to clip it to the side for my daughter. My daughter absolutely LOVES her wig and that is all that counts I myself am not unhappy, it just took a lot of work to get the fibers to lay they way I'd like.
Shelly is awesome and if you like the looks of these wigs, you should definitely join her next GO!!!

The color is a little different from the photo... BlackPurple was (ironically) supposed to be solid purple, but this is actually variegated. Not sure if it's black in there, or a deep blue or blue/violet, but... I actually think it looks really nice. I love it.

I trimmed it before I took the photos, though- The bangs were down to his mouth and the back was too long for the character, but I'd WAY prefer too long to too short, and now I know how to trim a wig. ^^



And might I add that in the sun it's a REALLY gorgeous color? I LOVE these colors.

This wig's perfect... The color looks better than in the swatch, far more lively, and it looks redder in person than in this photo by just a bit. It's not quite so purple, which is just what I wanted.

Bangs a touch too long again... But it's okay. The length is just what I wanted, to the floor! I think the doll it'll be for is a couple cm taller than Yanagi, so that's perfect. ^^

...Whoops, just realized I forgot to photograph the white I ordered. It's just what I wanted as well- the white is a true white, not creamy or gray-tinted, which is just what I needed and couldn't find before! I'll try to get a photo up later.

I ordered two other wigs, and they ended up arriving the wrong colors due to a mistake somewhere, so I didn't take pics- I got another claret and another wine red so I don't have new colors to add yet. But when the red and black brown arrive I'll post pics. ^^

Overall:

Yes, the styling is a little off, like they are often too long, but I don't care at all. I learned to trim a wig, and I'd FAR rather get a longer wig than one that's too short because too long can be fixed, but too short is irreparable.

No wigcap shows on mine except on the claret one when I try to part the hair so it sits all the way off the face, but that's understandable, and I probably just need to play with it more.

The fibers are soft and nice on all of them, even my deep alice blue. They are thick and have no gaps, etc. I'd say the quality of my batch is excellent.

And the colors and selection are GREAT.

Shelly, I really hope you do one more; I'd love to get more wigs- I had a few I was planning to order and really want to have. It's so hard to find good fantasy colors- so many wig places offer mostly natural colors only, or have a smattering of reds, maybe a blue or two, perhaps a pink, but only in selected styles, making it nearly impossible for me to find the wigs my colorful guys and gals need. This GO is just what I've been needing, and give my regards to HC. ^^

 

All wigs were ordered in SD size (22-23cm). They're shown on a Notdoll Aletheia, whose head is 21.5cm. As such, most of the wigs aren't a very good fit - the wig caps come way down on the head and bulge a bit. I don't really consider this an issue with the wigs since I knew going in that her head was smaller than the given size.

To give an idea of the original condition, all photos are taken straight from the packaging, no styling done.

Where applicable, I've included the mock-up images I sent along with my wig requests. Hopefully this might give people an idea of how close things are likely to come out.

Comments: Instead of a single streak, the Black Purple fibers are fairly mixed across the top layer, though they are more concentrated on the one side. (I actually love how it looks, but this might be important to people who really do want a discrete streak.)

Comments: This wig has a patch where the wig cap doesn't seem to align correctly and sticks out a bit. There were some loose threads there and the hair fibers were really kinked.

Comments: It's really hard to style the hair to keep the clips from being painfully obvious. There just doesn't seem to be enough hair to adequately cover the clips and net. I quite like the wig without the clips, though.
The difference in length in each pigtail is pretty significant.

 

Okay, so, we got two wigs in this GO. The first was something that Shelly has been dealing with us closely on, as she knew it was wrong. We wanted a 3-tone (literally 1/3 of each color) wig in Blue, White, and Red, with a simple braid down the back. Not only was the red and blue just thin streaks, they're in a spot that doesn't show all that well, and the wig wasn't braided. Ah well, we're dealing with it, but does show that there is a great deal of miscommunication, even with clear, simple instructions and pictures. That said, we do adore the wig. It is beautiful, just not what we asked for. I particularly like the bangless feature, and think a lot of people would JUMP for something like that. I hope that HC adds "no bangs" as a wig option for their standard wig. I know I've heard people wish it existed before. Granted, Xania (doll wearing the wig) has too big of a forehead for a bangless wig to really look good on her, but it is a nice wig.




Next we have the wig for my boy Rhys. In the last (2nd) GO, I bought him a wig in the wrong color, not realizing that blackish green had gray strands in it. This GO (3rd) I ordered the exact same wig, in the exact same size, in a different color (Black Green 2). This is to document the discrpeancies in the sizing and style, and to show my realization. For reference, I am showing the wig both on Rhys (the doll it was made for, with a 6/7 head), and his sister Rhianna (with a 7/8 head). The wig was made in the smaller of the two MSD sizes, which is SUPPOSED to be something like 6.7 inches I believe? Under 7. So it should NOT fit a 7/8 head, but, miraculously, it does.

 

As you can see, while the blackish green wig fits on his head, the bangs were a smidge long. I didn't mind that, and I didn't realize just how large the wig was on him until I put it on his sister. But I could've worked with the size, even still... if it had stayed consistent. The pictures of the inside out wigs best show how much of a difference there is in wig cap size on the exact same wig... I do not think I can 'make' the green black 2 wig work for Rhys, sadly. The cap comes down to his eyes, so trimming will do nothing. The green black 2 wig is also longer and fuller in all places. Part of me is tempted to re-order, as the COLOR is perfect for him. But I'm not sure if I'll get the same result. I'm tempted to try the BB size, but, well, there's no proof that it will fit him, and what if I spend on a third wig that just doesn't fit? /rambling

There are some non-straight hairs on the left front side. It's only less than 5 fibers or something so I can easily cut it off.

This is such a nice blend that you can't even tell that it is one! You have to get up really close to see it because both colours match very well with each other. It's like natural hair.

I didn't expect the wigs to turn out that orange, but apart from that I'm quite happy with them. The fibre is amazingly soft and nice. They're both quite long but it doesn't seem like they'll tangle easily. Both wigs are practically right out of the bag, I only went through them with my fingers and look how nice they fall. Specially the E04.

 

Alright. Going to post my wigs here as well as in the order thread.

I ordered 1 custom wig for my computer virus OC doll, Radix and 1 normal style in Tree brown.


First up, the Tree brown one. I actually wasn't too happy with the color. It was really orange compared to the fiber photo... :T But I think I'll keep it for a Halloween doll. I might make a little pumpkin boy.

On my Neo-AngelRegion Abel, Felix-Jung:

Now for the custom wig. I wanted a short style for my computer boy. He has blue bangs and blonde in the back. I'm really happy with the colors and how she mixed the blue with the blonde. Sadly, the bangs are longer than the rest of the wig! D: So I have to trim them.

On my Angell-Studio Que boy, Radix:

Colors: Azure bangs and highlights, the rest Sand Gold.

Colour: Ivory gold and deep pink...supposedly
Size: 1/4 MSD...supposedly
