Any additional info/backstory: Alternate history 19thC, Raven was born to an unconventional British father who worked for the East India Company. His father was most probably an English Gypsy by heritage, but had been adopted and raised by a gorgio English family (Parson father). He married an Englishwoman, had a son, but she died in childbirth. Grieving, he left for India and married a Hindu woman and Raven was born. Raven was orphaned when the British compound was attacked. He spent several years on the streets before his half-brother and aunt could get to India to search for him. Neither Raven nor Valentin, his older brother, fit in all that well with English society. They prefer traveling the world and offering their services to help out people who are in trouble. ... am still considering whether there will be a paranormal element to this story...
