Aquilla hates to be called by his true name (Jinu-Seong). He says it’s merely because its ‘too complicated’, but truthfully, to him it signifies failure. He saw being institutionalized as failing his family. Being abandoned by his grandparents has made him quite self-conscious about this so called “mental illness” he has. It’s not an illness at all. In fact the voice he had been hearing in his head was never imagined, it was the result of two souls trapped inside one body. Aquilla has since been separated from Hyon, however he remains insecure about it. It affects him sometimes, to the point where he is afraid to meet new people lest they think of him as a failure. He is getting better but until he has found his place and his abilities are developed, he will be skittish and shy. The resentment he received from Hyon while they were fused has also caused him to feel as if he had failed as a brother as well. It will take time for him to fully heal, but he will pull through.

Aquilla possesses three distinct skills as a psychic: Clairaudience, Clairsentience (Psychometry) and Mediumship
Clairaudience allows aquilla to hear the ‘inaudible’. To put it most simply, It is not hearing the thoughts of others, it is hearing the voices of others. He can hear someone speak or a certain sound from thousands of miles away. It is a powerful ability that is rarely found anymore. Hyon’s voice is a good example. The soul did not have a voice, in fact it was Hyon speaking from the otherworld that Aquilla was hearing. Hyon soul wasn’t directly attached to aquilla’s, just linked. He can trace the sources of such voices from another ‘plane of existence’ and interpret them intelligently for the benefit of those who seek the truth. A clairaudient acts as a medium to speak out the messages from the outer sources for the benefit of others.

Clairsentience - Clairsentience gives him the ability to hold an object or touch someone and sense the energy surrounding that person, place or thing. Clairsentients experience a sense of movement or stillness, relaying past, present and future life events. This ability is known to be essential for healers which explains why Aquilla is so good at the healing arts despite being untrained.

Mediumship: Aquilla is a natural medium, meaning he can relay information and messages from spirits, the deceased and higher powers. Unlike a channeller, he does not let the spirit into his body, rather he just communicates with it and relays the information back to the physical world. This technique is much harder than simple channelling. He can channel, he just doesn’t like to, given it is dangerous and he becomes susceptible to possession.

Personality: The mysterious twins. Life as a mercenaries doesn't lead one to the 'warm fuzzies'. They're cold stares and 'down to business' demenor pretty much cools anyone in their boots. On the flip side, when working, they have an amazing ability to blend in, even in gregarious situations. The challenge with dealing with these two is knowing exactly WHO you're dealing with.

Likes: Challenge of the hunt, guns and dames.

Dislikes: Whining, begging, and cowards.

 

Name: Anzu Ichijiku

Hair: A browns-mix short, mostly, but he does like trying on other wigs (is aware of his existence in "doll form" at the present time.) Has a favorite strawberry-colored long wig for "stress" (see below)

Skintone: normal Skin. Came to me with an (unassembled) Model body, but was switched to the more boyish previous 2-piece-torse/long leg IP body.

Customizations: Face by Shuui, however, I thinned and shaped the heavy brows to my own preferences, and for more expressiveness.

Background: Comes from a family of all women at this point. Their "home plane" is slightly different from ours, but they have a close connection to Japan. The "family business" is dealing with various spiritual issues and his sisters are gifted and skilled in various aspects of that. Anzu (which is a girl's name,btw, means "apricot", and his last name means "figs"), however, has no such skills, and he has had a difficult time at home where he's alternately put down and admonished to "try harder". Which has probably contributed to and is worsened by his tendency to 'hide' in female clothing and wigs when under great, or perceived great, stress. (Kept in some check by the lack of available clothing in his size, however. Try asking for that kind of commissions...)

Likes: Loves computer-surfing, movies, group activities. Pretty easy-going.

Dislikes: Stress, worries about self-worth, uncertainties, the fact that women tend to see him as a buddy rather than a possible boyfriend. No interest in yaoi activities. Has decided he definitely does not like doll meets.
