* How easy was it to pay? Extremely easy. I just used paypal through the shopping cart on their site.

* How long did it take to ship? Eleven days from ordering to arrival at my house

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? yes, yes YES! She's fantastic for the price. I absolutely love her body's engineering and she is *so* pretty!

(Resinsoul is sold from Bobobie's site as well as via DDE and their own website, but they are a distinct company, with different faceups, body and head sculpts than Bobobie's. However, they are cast with the same resin and at the same facility as Bobobie's dolls.)

 

* What did you order?
A tan Song with faceup, a white Ju with faceup, and we also received a whiteskin Yu with faceup as a promotional gift for New Year's.

* When did you order?
December 15th (2008)

* Did you order directly from the company, or through a distributor or dealer?
Directly from Resinsoul at www.resinsoul.com

* How was the communication?
Emails from the company were always prompt and helpful.

* How easy was it to pay?
There was a website error on the "submit order" page of the website, but we emailed them directly with our order, and they sent back an email the next day with our total and their paypal address. Payment was super simple.

* How long did it take to ship?
The dolls shipped on December 30th, and arrived January 5th. (EMS was slow to deliver due to the holidays, but the company shipped the dolls in two weeks and one day.) Because of the website error, we did not have an order listed on the website, but we were sent an ems code with our order and the company asked to be notified when we got the dolls, to be sure they got here safely.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Quality of these dolls far exceeds the low price for the product. They are fully sanded, the faceups are only $10 but are professionally done, and they all came with bags and cushions, even the Yu. They were strung slightly loose for shipping, but tightening and sueding makes them stand like rocks. The Yu has a slight belly-pop which is easily remedied with a dot of hot glue suede or by putting her in clothes. The tan doll had some slight fading from sanding, as I have seen in other sanded tan dolls, but it is not really noticeable. The resin is lightweight and very smooth, but does not feel fragile or in any way of inferior quality. I noticed no thinness of the resin around the eyes or ears as I have seen in other, more expensive molds. The slender nature of the dolls in part contributes to their lightweight feel compared to other, thicker dolls of their size. The sculpts are gracefully done. Posing and sitting them takes some work, but a custom color doll with faceup in 45cm, for $145, is a fantastic deal. These are remarkable dolls at a remarkable price.

The dolls arrived in under 2 months, it likely would have been less time if the order period had not overlapped the Featherfall holiday break period

It was really good! The representative for that company, was worried that my parcel got lost, and had emailed me about this. As it was delayed to be delivered to my front door by 3 days. It turned out, it was the local post office's fault. So it's all good. Also, I had requested it to be delivered by 5th of June, if possible. They went faster then I expected! <:

It was shipped 19th of May, and arrived on 26th of May. Although, this long postage time, wasn't the company's fault. It was the post office's so it's not bad. c:

There wasn't really any beyond getting the email receipt from the company, which I got quickly (like within a matter of minutes) and the shipping notice (also received within a matter of minutes).
How easy was it to pay?
As easy as it always is to pay via paypal.
How long did it take to ship?
I got the shipping notice within minutes of ordering, the first update to the tracking was the next day, and I got the doll today.
Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Very much so. I'm quite happy with the doll.
Did the item look like the sales pictures?
With the exception of the sales photos being of a white skinned doll, and my ordering a normal skinned doll. But that's not the fault of the company.

The resin is very smooth and even, no marbeling or seams, the face up & blushing are well done, she is slender & lightweight but the resin does not seem thin or brittle at all. She's strung well & poses well and is very well balanced. She came shipped in a pretty carrying case, well wrapped, with extra eyes.

i also had to re-string her 3 times in order to get her to pose...her knee joints are not great..they could be better

i think anyone who is thinking of getting into this hobby could not go far wrong with resinsoul....face up aside it's what you do to your doll that matters...the personalisation is key to getting the doll you want.... the end result of my dai i love..she looks so much better than she does on the site

Absolutely. The doll is beautiful, a great sculpt, and nicely finished. She posed well right out of the box. I'm thrilled with her.

I think so, definitely. Even for a YoSD size, the price is definitely acceptable.

I hadn't really heard of them before... However, in the sales picture, they're featured with the normal skin, whereas I got her in blue. They do look similar, but it's a bit different with the blue skin.

Very much so. She's adorable

Probably so. I know if I do get another RS doll, I'll buy it again from my local vendor. It's much, much faster and safer, IMO because I'm able to pay in cash no problem.

I was very impressed by of the correspondance between myself and Sun from resinsoul, and was very suprised that my special order (LU hands) was followed for free, and i received a pair of the regular hands as well (woo for heavy modding now!!!) I would reccomend these sellers to anyone! this company is proof that a cheaper doll does not mean a lesser quality one

A thousand times yes!! Resinsoul's prices are SO reasonable, but that absolutely doesn't mean that you're getting a "cheap" doll. He's so well-made, and the face-up is flawless.

There are a few issues, such as one of the dogs s-hook won't fit through the hole so I can't get her head off, and the boys tail won't stay on without assitance, but over all I'm happy enough. It will be easy enough to fix the girls head issues and the tail will be glued in place once my boy is painted. Out of four dolls all from ResinSoul, these are the only issues I've ever had, so yes definitely happy.
Plus I asked them to send both my dogs with brown eyes, they sent one dog with beautiful blue eyes, the other with yellowy green ones, and also sent the two sets of brown eyes that I requested along with a block of kneaded eraser for changing their eyes for free!

I haven't contacted them yet, and I will only do so if I cannot get the s-hook out of my girls head.EDIT: Got the girls head off and reshaped the s-hook into it's correct shape and it works just fine now, so no need to contact them.
* Would you order from this company again? Absolutely. RS is and will remain my favourite company ever. I am already my fifth RS doll.

The Bao's are my 2nd & 3rd RS doll and I'm just as happy with them as I am with my Jun. The resin is beautiful and smooth and while they feel light, they've also got a sturdiness to them. The sculpts are gorgeous and the face-ups light and delicately done. They are a fantastic value for your dollar.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? She was very loose, but that is too be expected with both Bobobie and Resinsoul. However, for the price, she was great.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures? Not at all! Yao's nose is a huge in person and I wish I had waited until others had her to order. I mean, her ears were lovely but I knew from the very second I removed her from the box she was going.

Yes, but only if I knew through owner pictures the doll would not end up looking NOTHING like the preview images.

I did order sky blue and the promo pictures were of a white skin Mei but sculpt wise, yes it did.

Great. Ordering was simple via email and they notified of receipt of payment and when the doll shipped.

Easy. They sent me the total, I paid via paypal.

Shipped on 19th November 2011 but didn't arrive until 30th November via EMS. Not sure what the hold up was and tracking was glitchy but I think that was due to the postal people not bothering to scan in the label for tracking. The tracking disappeared altogether for an entire week.

Definitely.

Yes it did.

I certainly am but that's not surprising for RS.

Great! I did the order through email and they responded pretty fast even when they were away for Chinese New Year.

I paid via paypal, so no problem at all.

* How long did it take to ship?
Shipped on February 8th, arrived on February 15th. The tracking wasn't very good but that happens sometimes. She arrived safely otherwise.

Certainly!

Yes

Definitely, they even gave me an extra set of eyes as a freebie.

I plan on it if they come out with more fantasy sculpts. Ordering by email with Sun was very easy.

If there was a special reason, yes, but otherwise I would rather buy a new doll because their prices are so low.
