Were you satisfied with the product? Completely and totally. Dollzone white is a very pretty white and the resin appears to be smooth. He's tightly strung, maybe too tightly as hi right leg thinks it's Doris Day. Face up is beautiful.

It was pretty good. There was a bit of a barrier, as Sunny, the person who manages the emails, doesn't use English as a first language, and I don't know a lick of Chinese.

Very easy. The only complication was on my end; getting my bank to let me do an international transfer.
* How long did it take to ship?
It arrived at my place on the 1st of January. It was sent on the week of the 15th of December.
* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
More than appropriate.
* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Yes.
* Were you satisfied with the product?
The only issue I had was that the black clothes had too much dye in them and stained her a bit, but that came off with a melamine sponge. She was also strung a little too tightly, but restringing her was no problem at all.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? I think so ^.^

* Did the item look like the sales pictures? Mostly. There is some heavy streaking and pale spots in the dollzone tan resin (I don't mind, I was expecting/hoping for it), so people who are looking for a very even skintone should probably consider other options. The outfit and mould, boots and whiteskin were all spot on though ^.^

* Were you satisfied with the product? Absolutely.

* If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? no problem.

* Would you order from this company again? yes sir ^.^ I like their product.

Like I said above, the only thing that most people would be unsatisfied with is the uneven coloring on the tanskin. He's a bit blotchy and streaky in places. Personally, I like it. Anyone who'd like example pics can feel free to PM me, and I'll attempt to get them to show up on camera. Mostly, they're only visible on close inspection or in tucson High noon Sunlight. (very VERY bright.)

No problem, my e-mails were generally answered the same day I sent them, and Manu was very nice with explaining things, especially since this was my first doll and i had a lot of questions.

Simple, I think it was a bank transfer (my parents did that part for me)

Shipping was fast both from China to Germany, and Germany to Switzerland (only 4 days for the latter), although it got stuck in German customs for three weeks... It arrived today.

I think so, although I'm still a novice to pricing

Some were slightly different, but I think they look better in person.

Yup.

Also DZ split the shipping because they didn't have all the clothes I wanted. Therefore there were some troubles with our customs and thus the clothes arrived very late.

The GO from MDS was ordered on the 23rd? of March, but took about 2 months to ship out. This may have been only Dollzone's fault, but I wasn't warned about it from MDS except from a little notice on the home page.

I went through jeeryama on eBay, who processed both my order and my girlfriend's order ((an NPS Chen)).

* How was the communication?
Jeeryama was very friendly, patient and considerate, despite the language barrier being slightly confusing at times. Very prompt with replies ((except for one point where he was on vacation for a few days)) and gave us all the information we asked for.

* How easy was it to pay?
Very easy, used Paypal.

* How long did it take to ship?
DZ was in the middle of their serious backlog when we ordered, so the dolls weren't shipped until three months later ((June 14)) . It took a little over a week for them to get home, but that was mostly Canada Post's fault - EMS was very speedy beforehand.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Excellent quality! Both my doll and my girlfriend's doll were - still are - in amazing condition and the faceups are beautiful.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
MUCH better, even. Floy's faceup wasn't quite as it was pictured, but I actually like it better.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Extremely!

Definitely, and I plan to fairly soon. The quality of my doll was well worth the extended wait.

Jeeryama on eBay, at the same time I ordered a WS Floy on behalf of my girlfriend.

All the communication was wonderful. Both Jeeryama and another helper were great about replying and keeping in contact with us.

Yay Paypal!

* How long did it take to ship?
We got caught in the epic DZ backlog and had to wait till June 14th for the dolls to ship which was actually earlier than the time they projected which was June 24th.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Both dolls are just beautiful. They can with lovely face-ups and they're structure is great for posing.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
He did - I was very pleased with how he looked when he came - I will admit I was worried he wouldn't look the same, but I was very impressed with him.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Very. The only flaw was a tiny chip gone out of the MSC on his face-up, but it's barely noticeable and I don't mind it at all. Looks like a tiny cool scar.

I plan to again very soon!

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? except one wig everything was fine. The dolls are just beautiful, the clothes are nicely sewn, same goes for the shoes. But the blonde wig I ordered isn't that worth I have to say. It's losing much hair and you can see the rubber it's sewn to.

The shirt even after I wash it over 10 times (with everything they say to do )it still puts black all over his arms. The pants where they have the holes by his knees get caught in the joints of the doll and his wig was horrible it never fit him and it was missing most of its fur at the top of it. The fullset isn't worth the price you pay for it. At least not this one.

I ordered through Dollslife in Russia, since Ivan is a limited district doll.

* How was the communication?
I dealt with Xenia, the manager of Dollslife. She was absolutely wonderful the entire time! Extremely helpful, understanding and friendly - and her English is very good, too. Dealing with Xenia and Dollslife was some of the most pleasant buyer-seller communication I've ever experienced, BJD-related or otherwise.

* How easy was it to pay?
It was somewhat easy; I used Western Union and there was an error on their part that resulted in having to wait an extra day for payment to be confirmed, but that's all.

* How long did it take to ship?
DZ shipped Ivan out after only 39 days ((including weekends)). It took an extra week after the one-month estimate because they were apparently moving to a new factory. It took another two weeks for him to finally get home to me after shipping out, mostly due to Canada Post.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yes! He is an absolutely gorgeous doll and the fullset is really something to behold.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Very much, it was just about spot on. The faceup is slightly pinker than the photos, probably due to editing, but it's not really an issue.

EDIT 12 November 2009 : I had a mail with tracking number from Jessie/dollzone they said their bank account had stuck in a way and my payment didn't show till now , it seems my dolls are on their way so when they'll arrive I 'll update/edit my feedback

EDIT 25 - 11- 2009 : The dolls are here , It is wonderful that their bank account worked and my payment showed finally , I still believe this could be done earlier and I believe that it didn't because they probably couldn't understand what I was telling to them so I think it was a language problem ... next time I'll go through a resaler for better communication and far easier payment method so to avoid this happen again. But I have to say with pleasure that finally I am truly happy with dollzone & their dolls.

So far this is my issue with DZ:
DZ send my Chen on old type body without double joint,i've asked for the new 70Cm type,by the end of May, i've ordered on very beginning of FEB.
the Polland DZ dealer, she was so kind and take a lot of care of my issue, put my new order as special request for her store to DZ, and that's why i have order him totally blank at this time, without face-up at or any other custom service,and i've got the doll by the end of July.
In the start he might comes with two tattooes, pierced nipples, customized body blushing, and customized face-up, they did nothing in the correct way, they also done the first time partial custom service without any note.Just a poor fece-up from an unskilled artist, and the only tatoo they made was hudge for his arms, and uncertain.

Because I ordered him through Featherfall the communication was excellent.

Very.

I finished paying for him on New Year's Eve and received him Jan. 22. Pretty quick for Dollzone, even with the stopover at Featherfall factored in!

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Mostly. Doll, yes; outfit, not so much.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Yes, exactly!

* Were you satisfied with the product?
I'm very satisfied with the doll; it's beautifully made. I'm not a huge double-joint fan so his elbows and knees seem odd to me, but there's nothing at all to fault about them.

However, the fullset items are really not worth the extra, with the exception of the boots and potentially the pants. The wig is a joke -- thin, ill-made, trash. The jacket, while wonderful-looking, has a very strong plasticky-chemical smell that lingers and lingers. I don't quite understand these two issues.

I didn't bother worrying either Featherfall or Dollzone with the issues.

Yes, but not their wigs. I'm appalled by this one.

I have a number of 2nd hand Dollzone dolls and love them all. So yes.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? yes and no. they do need to look at how they make there clothes in my opinion. The pants still are not right the whole is in the wrong place and it get caught in his joints.

* Would you order from this company again? yes there dolls are amazing. The company Tan's the colour right thought the resin and they do a wonderful job on their dolls.

* How was the communication? I bought through Jeeryama (Doll's Singing) on ebay, and it was pretty good, my questions were answered mostly in the next day, if not in the same day.

* How long did it take to ship? Took a while (two months) but it seemd pretty quick considering that their production was being slowed due to holidays. They shipped the doll very carefully and with loads of bubblepaper to prevent damage.

I knew what to expect, as far as the doll itself was concerned. The clothes, shoes, accessories, and eyes are beyond what I was expecting. The clothes and shoes were put together very well, and the accessories are beautifully detailed. The wig, however, had some spots where the wig cap showed through. Aside from that, color and over all feel is very good.

They are in the process of solving it now. I contacted sales and service after confirming with the DOA community that I had indeed been sent a wrong colored head. I sent them comparative pictures to my other DZ doll's skin, and they agreed that they had made a mistake. I asked the representative Winnie about return shipping and handling, and she asked me to simply keep the head that they sent me in error. I was so surprised! I asked her again if she was sure, and if I could/should pay additional shipping, and she said not to worry. Either way, the customer service so far has been monumentally kind, quick, and generous.
EDIT/UPDATE: I recieved the correct head this morning! She looks beautiful, and is exactly what I ordered.

The belts look cool but the silver layer is already separating from the thick black part. The wig is horrendous and has a huge spot in the front where the wigcap shows. The face up is decent, but its not really that much better then what I could do. The shoes are fine from what I can tell. The extra pieces (head scarf, arm sleeve, & bandana) are fair - the material is cheaper then the photos make it look.

Pretty much. Like I said, the extra pieces are made out of spandex and the pictures make them look like they're made out of shiny silver like the rest of the outfit.

Here's the story. I got my package from Dollzone. Correct addresses, correct tracking number, marked dolls on the customs form but when I opened the package, no doll heads, just a big pile of Louis Vuitton. SO I sent a photo of the ears on my doll. I was told the ears were yellow and my doll is pink! Do they think I don't know the color of my own doll!?!?! Then the excuse was it is a different year's resin. Ok, sure. I am ok with that. But they are pink. And no paws. I think they sent my order to someone else. They sent me photos of 2015 resin colors to reorder and pay for another set even though I never got what I ordered the first time. The photos they sent show a Normal Yellow resin and a Normal pink. There is the yellow I needed the first time but they sent pink and tried to make it my fault. I said no, I will just sell my doll and forget about it. I will never order from them again.

Were you satisfied with the product? Very. This body barely has any seaming on it. The resin is super smooth and soft and the double joints work amazingly. The sculpt of the body is really beautiful, I was looking for a nice dainty body and I found it I'm actually just sad that they've since stopped making this body. The pink skin is a really pretty colour, and is great for hybrid-ing with dolls that have a predominantly pink undertone.

No. The casting is very thin which is crucial with such dolls and she was packed not very well.

Jeeryama did her best to solve the issue with broken parts replacement (despite DZ telling that they'll replace the broken parts at first they declined me later, telling it's too expensive). I got two of the 3 parts broken replaced, got an extra part I don't need and now I have a broken part I can't replace at all.

* Would you order from this company again?
No. Never. But I still work with Jerryama and I can't complain at the service at all.

* Would you buy this company's products second-hand?
No. I prefer companies that provide after-service just in case. And DZ proved to be careless with their customers.

   Were you satisfied with the product? Overall, I'm very happy with my order and especially with Fabric and Friends. I'm glad I ordered through them because Dollzone made a mistake on my order. Luckily Iris has promised to take care of it for me.
   The problems I had where with my Amelia. One finger on one hand attached to her body was broken off and was not in the box so I couldn't reattach it. But instead of the fist hands that I ordered, Dollzone had made a mistake and sent me an extra pair of the default hands. It worked to my favor in this case because I was able to replace the broken hand with one of the extra hands. Iris has said that she will make sure that I receive the correct fist hands when she places her next order with Dollzone. I'll have to wait forever but I'd rather have to wait for the fist hands than have a broken finger on my doll's hand with no way to fix it!
2. I had to wire my bodies because they were so kicky. But I have other Dollzone bodies and have always had to wire them so the kickiness was no surprise. Once the bodies are wired they pose beautifully without having to hot glue them. Arwen is mega kicky though. I can't wait to wire her!
