The first time I placed an order with them I wanted the items to be combined so I could save on shipping cost so I emailed them but I got impatient so I called them and they were pretty helpful and efficient as they made changes right away. Later on I would learn that they reply to emails within 24 hrs and it was the only time I called. I sent them other emails regarding cancelling and changing orders and they accommodated me each time. * How easy was it to pay? Very easy. No posting on Q&A boards which I think can get confusing. * How long did it take to ship? First batch: shipped on Jan 14, 2010 Second batch: shipped last week, arrived today, Feb 22, 2010 * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? "The Fool" outfit set is pretty awesome and I'm glad that I ordered the doll during their promo period which meant I got that set for free. The wig is pretty unique. Souldoll is the only company, to my knowledge, that makes their sort of "bling" eyes, so considering that, the price is pretty good. * Did the item look like the sales pictures? The outfits look just like the pictures but I had to snip the shirt's sleeve (not from The Fool set but the other one) after 15min of trying to put my doll's hand through it. The doll, the wig and most of the eyes I ordered look like the sales pictures. But in the B85 sales picture the eye colour goes from this royal blue to sky blue, but in person and even in photographs taken with my 5mp camera with flash, the eye just looks more black than anything else. * Were you satisfied with the product? I know their eyes are smaller than the standard ABJD eyes but I also just found out that their 16mm eyes are not the same size as each other. O_O I don't know why this is. The order sheets clearly say 16mm and yet the pairs from my second batch are clearly larger than the 16mm from my first batch. I will post pictures if requested. But yes, I'd order from them again because I really love their dolls! After speaking with a moderator I feel that it is appropriate to leave negative feedback for souldoll as a warning to potential future buyers. * What did you order? LE Souldoll Emilia fullset. * When did you order? Late October. * How was the communication? I bought her through Denverdoll so I never communicated directly with the company. * Were you satisfied with the product? I never got her, about two weeks after my layaway started I got a notification e-mail from denverdoll that souldoll had run out of the fullset items and would not fulfill my order. I would like to be clear that the order period was listed as 'X to Y date' not 'X to Y date or until supplies run out'. I want to be clear also that denverdoll is not in any way responsible for this and they could not have been kinder in helping me cancel my order and get my refund. * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? I was very dissatisfied. Not only was I very excited to get Emilia but she was actually a present that many friends of mine pitched in to buy for me. Souldoll did nothing to help solve this problem. Decent, got a confirmation right away and notice of shipping. I did have to contact them after the doll arrived (see below) and they were a bit slow, but it was over a weekend so that was probably a factor. How easy was it to pay? Overall, yes, however part of the wing mechanics broke off when I removed the wings from his back. It appeared to have been glued on before, implying it was likely broken before it shipped. They took 2 days to reply almost always. How easy was it to pay? Easy, by paypal. How long did it take to ship? 3 MONTHS. They said it would take 8 weeks, but it took almost 12 weeks. I think this is unacceptable. Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? No. The price is too high for a doll that took 3 months to ship and whose quality was not what I expected. Did the item look like the sales pictures? I don't think so. The eyes were asymmetrical, the tearduct was different in each one and they were at different heights. Besides, the mouth was croocked and one side is 'higher' than the other. It is a very asymmetrical doll. Were you satisfied with the product? No. The body is not my cup of tea. It has too broad shoulders, a wide neck that's too big and short, and the hands are almost bigger than the face. If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? They sent me 3 eyes (2 of which I chose) and a pair of horns I chose to repay for it. That date also passed, and when again I contacted them, I was told I could choose two pairs of eyes for free, but did not get a shipping estimate. I waited until around the end of November and tried yet again, this time was told if they had not shipped the order within 48 hours I would receive a full refund. Of course, they managed to squeak in and sent a shipping notice two hours before the 48 were up However, the eyes they had promised were not in the box when the heads did arrive so I had to contact them one more time and tell them. They did ship the eyes and I'm happier with them than the heads. Would you order from this company again? Dunno. I'm very satisfied with the doll. He looks fantastic, and the Souloid body is very detailed and looks great in the silver resin. The colour isn't completely even, but it doesn't look bad and some blushing will cover it up anyway. The outfit looks great, and it's obviously very well constructed. Unfortunately the leather parts of it have a very strong fish odour! I'm aware that sometimes leather is treated with fish oils, but it's really quite disgusting and I'm hoping that giving it a chance to air outside of the sealed plastic packaging will reduce it to a more tolerable level. UPDATE 25/10: After airing it for several weeks, the smell has gone from the coat and necklace pieces, and has mostly disappeared from the trousers and arm warmers (it no longer makes me want to vomit, at least). They will be sending new chest and leg parts, but they are doing nothing about the head because, and I quote: "The sculptor of the head didn't modify the thin parts because we don't think it is not big problem. SoulDoll was so responsive and helpful and easy to communicate with, and super quick despite the time difference. * How easy was it to pay? Very simple and quick. I did the whole payment at once. * How long did it take to ship? This is complicated, because there were some problems with my order with the dealer I bought the boy through. * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes, my goodness. He is gorgeous and gigantic, SO very detailed and high quality. I love him. He couldn't be more perfect. * Did the item look like the sales pictures? Pretty much. There was an issue with the dealer I bought from, but it had nothing to do with SoulDoll. The dealer (I won't name it because they are a very nice little company and it was an honest mistake) didn't actually place my order with SoulDoll for almost 6 months after I paid because of some mixups. After it was sorted out with the dealer, SoulDoll pushed my order ahead and got my boy shipped out 2 weeks after! They had even given me the option to cancel my order if I needed to. They were amazing and kind about the whole situation and got it sorted out in a matter of days. * Would you order from this company again? Dec 31, 2016, I used a layaway and her paid in full on Feb 5th, 2017. * How was the communication? Excellent! I sent a total of 3 messages on their Q&A and they got back quickly each time! * How easy was it to pay? Very easy, I used Paypal and as I sent payments I would advise them on the Q&A and my order sheet would update quickly. * How long did it take to ship? 4 and 1/2 Months * Were there any missing or broken items in your order? No, she was packaged -really- well. Pillows, Bubble Wrap, foam sheets, strings tying her down. * If there were any problems with your order, how did the company handle them? I messaged them about her being late and as an apology I got two free pairs of eyes, my choice of size / style * Would you order from this company again? Easily this answer is yes!

They've been so quick, polite, and understanding when I've asked questions! I've always heard back after no more than a day, tops. I've also had no issues with needing to communicate in English. * How easy was it to pay? Easy--I did a 6 month layway, so it was just a matter of remembering to send the same amount sometime that month to the same Paypal account. Souldoll would update my order info on the website afterwards, so it was simple to double-check that the payment was received. I actually messed up and missed my penultimate payment due to holidays scrambling the brain--when I noticed in the first week of the next month, I sent it in immediately with a note and an apology and had no issue at all, which was a huge relief and for which I am grateful. * How long did it take to ship? She arrived 5 days after my final layaway payment, actually, which is amazing to me. * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? The sculpt is beautiful, the resin is very evenly colored, and the seams are minimal. I've not done any restringing but the parts appear solid. She was also very securely packaged for shipping, wrapped in plenty of foam and sandwiched between proper pillows, even. She came with extra s-hooks and elastics as well as an extra block of putty for the eyes, which is nice. * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? n/a * Would you order from this company again?
