      Any additional info/backstory: The melancholy spirit of winter, Ivan was discovered by the Librarian Sage in a snowbank on the cusp of a new year. Concerned for the naive and amnesiac youth, Sage became his guardian, and allowed him to make the Library his home. Ivan is a sleepy sort and hides amongst the bookshelves (where it is cool and still) for the entirety of the summer, and rarely ventures outside until the first frost falls. He is fascinated by winter festivals and quilts and fireplaces, brandy and milky tea, felt boots and galoshes and all the trappings of the season he embodies.
