      Loongsoul 69cm girl clothes were designed based on the Corset Style in Victorian, again according to the personal understanding to complete the re-design. Loongsoul have supervised the entire manufacturing process. The clothes are completely made with Loongsould 69cm girl measurements. All copyright belongs to Loongsoul.     12. I want mechanical arm if sell seperately, or without head. I like the sculpt, but proportions are off. If he had Xuyao or Jingling head it would be sorely tempting even with their inflated craniums.

    24. Loving the body so far and the JingLing head is fantastic... he's perfect for a character I'd love to make a doll of but could never find the right sculpt. I'm really loving the hands too (the ones on xuanbing, specifically the peace hand). Definitely want those if I get one of these lovely boys <3

      Also Congrats PearlZenith!! I really can't wait to see some owner pics <3 I'd love to know how you like the body toooo, and resin quality...

      oh man this has got me all awake and excited :sweat

    28. I'm planning on putting a Bada head from Ninodoll on XuanYan, so I got the yellow normal resin. I'm hoping it works out, and I'll also post photos of that. Of course, I have to get the head first.

    30. I've ordered XuanYun and DK jointed hands (both in NY) some time ago, so I'll be able to get the size/color match comparison.
      I really hope they will match together. ;)

      That would be great to see some other heads on. I'm still looking for a suitable head myself. Not that I dislike the XuanYan head, but I just need a more mature one. But will see when I get him, maybe a suitable face-up/mod will make the wonder.


      Totally understand... :...( I should forbid myself to look at DoA news...

    32. Lindsey, in your opinion, does the LoongSoul YS match pretty well to the Volks PS? They look very similar in the photo, but aren't next to each other, so I was curious.

    33. I think they are a pretty good match. The batch of LS NY we got is a tad bit darker then Volks PS, but it's not bad. LSdoll took a picture of all of their resins with a Volks PS right next to a LS NY:

      I don't know what kind of lighting they used but in their picture Volks and LS look really close in color.

      I'm very impressed with my guy so far, and can't wait to take photos of what he can do!

    39. Okay, I only managed a couple photos before my battery gave out, and I didn't trust the replacement to hold much charge. But I had fun, at least.

      You can see a lot more photos of Tsukasa's Xuanyan in her box opening thread, so I didn't feel like duplicating those.

      I do really like the jointed hand, though, and am trying to figure out how best to paint it. I got an airbrush for that purpose, and the right inks; now I have to learn to use it well. I wanted a bronze arm, or else I would have bought the already painted version.

      &#8230; and finally not to spam this thread only with my personal fun, I got a little bit time to do something with the pictures I took a while ago, so here come my 2c.

      LS doll normal yellow + Dikadoll 1/3 boy hands (ver.2) normal yellow.
      - size match: no issue
      - color match: The LS NY is a bit pinker than the DK NY.

      Just to clarify one thing, the last photo shows the difference bigger than it is in reality. Not sure exactly why, but when taking a photo, the body gets pinker and the DK hands whiter/yellower (depends on the light). Well, maybe I should learn a bit more about the camera setup. :sweat
      Nevertheless, decent hands&#8217; blushing would make the match better, but I am not bothered by it in present.

    42. Awesome! Sven says, 'Hi' back. And wishes the daylight hours were longer so I'd take more photos. I think I did get him to stand on one leg, at least for a bit. I also got him to do some other really neat poses that he wouldn't duplicate once I got out the camera.

      He really is a lot of fun. I'm so pleased with how easy he is to pose, and how solid the body feels. It reminds me a lot of my very first doll, a tiny, who's still my best poser, although Sven may prove competition for her.

    43. I have a question (and I posted this in the news thread as well - but figured I should ask here too) - does LSoul's tan color match well with other companies, specifically, ResinSoul's tan?

      I LOVE the JingLing sculpt for one of my characters, but his wife will be on a 70cm body, so I'd like him to be at least 70cms as well - and the default JingLing body is only 62 cm. I was hoping to put him on a 70cm tan RS body.

      Any input is very welcome!

      And definitely waiting for the mecha parts pictures once you are done with them.

      Here are the standing-on-one-leg photos. It was a bit challenging to balance him at the beginning, but once I leaned how, it was not that difficult and he could hold the position. (Apologies, these are still from the old batch photos where he was just out from the box).

    55. If you order till March 15 (if I remember correctly?), you can get one head extra. Or extra outfit or other stuff... there are 3 options.
      But I'm not sure when the new guys will be available.

    56. Tsukasa - I agree on the girl bodies! I hope they have the same amazing articulation and great look to them as the boys do. I won't be ready to get my girl doll (planning to get her third) for a long while, but while I love Dollstown's heads I'm not exactly sure about how stiff the torsos look on the 13girl bodies :/ And I'm sure I'll already be spoiled by Loongsoul by then XD

    58. Oooh, I love the sculpt photos in the interview. I'm also glad to learn that they're working on 70cm and female bodies. If they are engineered to the same level as the boy bodies, I'll definitely get one.

      I could tell that LoongSoul has a lot of pride in their dolls, from the way my Xuanyan came so carefully packaged, and there was even a very nice enameled company keychain included (with his model# engraved on the back.) One thing I really like about collecting BJD is how precious the dolls are to some of the people who make them, and those are the creators and companies I prefer to buy from.

    60. @Pannytheangel: it seems like a LOT of Chinese companies close for about a week for Chinese New Year festivities, which would be the week we're in right now. :X I'm totally excited to see YeSha and YeFei's actual release, but I'm not going to bank on it happening before this weekend at the earliest. I hope they release them before the 15th of March so ordering one will qualify the order for the New Year event going on :sweat
