    2. Why Tasha's laughter, btw? Just curious because she seems to be rather a serious girl-

      Anyway:

      Model: EF Tasha
      Customizations: She will eventually have an open pair of hands, since I got her with only fist hands, and the previous owner bought her that way from a seller (not directly from EF). Will have to either try dyeing a pair of EF girl hands (that I snagged during the recent distributor/core company meltdown), or looking for another company's skin tone to match her deeper tone.
      Skintone: Not a tan, but darker than the usual EF girl tone. More like the homme tone. She'll also have to have some serious wiring of her legs, because frankly, the new EF girl knees suck, and she can't stand with any stability right now. Love her lots despite the annoyance!
      Faceup: Company faceup embellished with twin eyes of Ra by Belladonna.
      Hair: Dark brown braided wig by Iplehouse.
      Eyes: Dunno. Bought on the marketplace. Red pupil, green/blue iris. Much better quality than some others I've seen for sale with this combo.
      Sex: Female.

    3. Interesting! I hadn't heard that, SwitchfootKatie -- I just went googling for phrases using the word Tasha, because I wasn't inspired. Apparently there's a band.

      Hair: Generally deep brown and shortish. She's currently wearing a LeekeWorld Kiki wig in Maroon.
      Eyes: Brown, but we're struggling with finding a good pair. The eyes in these photos are a grey-blue pair that she came with.

      Clothing preferences: Casual grad student wear, semi-elegant, tailored garments, sometimes historical costuming.

       Name: Miriam Margaret Weiss
      Nickname(s): Mimi, but only to her family.
      Age: Just turned 24.
      Birthdate: October 13. I'm not sure yet whether she's going to age, but ostensibly she was born in 1985.
      Nationality/Species: British, hailing from Yorkshire.
      Favourite colours: Purple, and possibly some shades of green.

      Likes: Reading, art, literature, history, old movies, sewing, reenactment, gardening, traveling, her family, romantic dates.
      Dislikes: Being the center of attention, sloppiness, being embarrassed, getting poor grades, card games.
      Secrets: I don't know yet! But anyway, they'd be secret...
      Personality & Background: Miriam is fairly subdued, and quite brilliant, but horrible at putting herself forward. She has to be coaxed out clubbing by her friends, though she tends to have a good time once she arrives. She has romantic leanings but does not date too often, partly because she is so busy with her coursework and hobbies and partly because she is too shy to let most men know she's interested. She is reserved, and sometimes this is mistaken for aloofness. She would much rather listen to a conversation, and only chimes in if she has something she considers significant to say. Her family lives in Pocklington, Yorkshire, and practices Liberal Judaism. She has a sister four years older than her, who is married, living in London and expecting her first baby, and a two-year-younger brother who is a Leading Seaman in the British Royal Navy. Miriam lives in Oxford with a flatmate (whom I hope to acquire eventually!) and is working on completing her degree and moving on to doctoral-level study.       Background: Bijoux is unquestionably the most revered and powerful figure in Elaris. The current Sine Oracle, she speaks with the voice of the Spirit Goddess Lotheili, and her words carry more weight than even royal decrees. She outranks even kings and emperors.

      The title of Sine Oracle passes from mother to firstborn daughter, and has done so for thousands of years, predating any kingdom or empire in Elaris. But they are more than just prophets: the Sine is the highest of the high priestesses, a powerful healer, and blood adversary of Thelas, god of the underworld. Fighting demons is part of her resume.

      Bijoux inherited the title when her elder sister, Basia, was killed during such a battle. Basia left no heirs, and Bijoux was unprepared to accept the title of Sine. A cheery girl who led her life in quiet anonymity, she is still struggling to accept her new destiny.
