Resin Comparison Peakswoods Resin/Body Matches?

I was on that thread... I BELIEVE, not certain, that the peakswood and the small bust body are the same! The comparison provided is of a Mature CP girl and a peakswoods. The "more" mature girl body is somewhere in between those two, I think?

 

Yes, the "girl" bust from CP is between the PW and CP "mature" bust sizes. I really should take more comparison pics, but I rarely have them all naked at one time!

 

Could someone help me?
I want to know if Lati doll resin is similar to peakswoods's. And if someone could change a Lati Blue head with Morimoth's head. My idea is to get a Lati Blue body to a Morimoth's head ^^

I have a mature bust and access to a "more mature" small bust luts girl... but I don't know anyone nearby with the small bust luts body. I can give you the shots I've got? To be honest I believe the peak's woods body is the same size as the luts small bust body.

 

Okay so first of all I apologize for the quality of the photos, but it's been overcast in my home all day. Second I'm sorry I had to label these "for comparison" and blur out the "naughty" bits, but otherwise Photobucket will delete them for being porn. But hopefully they will help a little!

Here's the CP small on the left and the PW small on the right:




They're pretty similar in size from the side. But I think in a front view the CP has a more mature "slope" then the PW. Also I think that the PW looks a bit bigger in these photos due to the blushing.

Does anyone know what normal skin PeaksWoods dolls match resin wise? I really like their MSD, but I don't like the bodies at all. Any info would be helpful!

Okay, so I am planning to buy my first girl from Peakswoods. While I love their face mods, their bodies fall a little short for me. I had always admired Iplehouse's bodies, and the thought came to me that I could buy the head and body separately. Though I'm not so sure on how good they would look.

I would love to see a Peakswoods FOC head on an Iplehouse YID body, or tell me how they

I'm hoping to buy an F-34 girl in the near future, but I'm not a huge fan of the Volks body. Can someone please show me (or even just tell me) what Volks pureskin normal resin is like compared to Peakswood's normal?

 

I'd have to see if she has any pics, but my friend has a Segi boy that uses the Volks SD boy body. Both are older but the resin match isn't too bad, the Peakswood is a tad lighter.

To be honest, I'd be more worried about proportion. F34 is a really big head that looks best on the SD13 boy body and I know the Peakswood girls are very petite and slender. You may run into neck fit and bobblehead issues.

I've had my Sky head on a Dollmore body and the resin match was pretty good. That was SD size but I can't believe it would be much different for MSD. Hope that helps.

 

How old was she? I have a Dollmore Asha that I got...mm...about a year ago? She's really pale compared to my Mori Moth. Of course, my Asha was a limited, so I'm not sure if they did anything different with her skin tone...her page said she was normal skin, so I dunno. ^^ But thank you for the tip!

 

She's about 18 months old and was NS. I'm not saying the match was perfect, just very close. You can see a pic of her with the SKy head here

Oh ok, I see! That is REALLY close, actually. Maybe my Mori Moth has yellowed slightly? She's significantly darker than my Asha, and about two years older. I bet that's it.

I think the new Dollzone pink skin matches very well. Some time ago I made a photo. I have to say that my Lady Bee is from 2006 so I dunno if they changed the resin color.

Well, I know Megan (Mori Moth) fits on Lucas's (DZ Shoyo) body. But it's a boy body. I'm sure it makes no difference though.

Megan (she's NS ) actually matches him PERFECTLY. If DZ double jointed bodies didn't have that awful waist joint, I'd have gotten her a DZ body. Of course, Lucas was bought back in 2007 and his body was actually second hand so it's possible that his body was at least a year older (the seller never told me). I'm not sure how much the newer resin has changed, but I have a Dolkot body for Megan on the way and I'll post pictures here of how well the resin matches.

I had her on a Fdoll body before, and the body (also second hand) was just a tiny tiny bit darker, but it yellowed REALLY quickly. And yet, her head has stayed the same! So I got that Dolkot one for her. We'll see how well it matches!

You know, I'm not sure really, now that I see this picture. I thought that he was the yellow skin one, but he's close to the picture too. IRL he looks more yellowish than pink, but I've never seen what people would consider a pink doll in person. I bought the body from someone a long time ago, before they had yellow and pink tones, so I wouldn't know.

Tinkgerbee, a lot of the PW posing issues can be solved with sueding (I use moleskin--check out this link). Especially the MSD girls are fine--My Lady Bee still isn't sueded, and she doesn't have posing issues. Though she is indeed single-jointed.

The normal skin is very light, though--I don't have any other dolls that match!

 

Hi there! I'm a bit new to all this, but here's my situation...

I'm absolutely, positively in LOVE with all the peakswood FOC girls...and I think I've finally decided to go with Goldie. She's so beautiful! I am thinking about buying her head only, and going with a different company for the body.

I was wondering if it were possible to hybrid a Peakswoods msd head onto a Minoruworld junior body?

Specifically I'm looking to see if the color of the resins match. Normal skin comparisons please?

To learn if the size is compatible would be a bonus?

I have an MSD Dollndoll body which matches my PW Yami head perfectly colour-wise. I intend on getting the SD size Dolln doll body for her soon.

 

Stratolily : Thanks a lots for your compaison photo. I have Misty Rose Skin Minoru Jr. girl body and wondering if peakswoods FOF head normal skin could match her resin colour. After seeing this, I can totally giveup on peakswoods head. T T

 

I just hybrid peakswoods Hucky normal skin head with Minoruworld Jr. misty rose skin body and this's the result...















I got this Jr. body by mistake because Minoruworld sent me the wrong gender. (I ordered a boy but got a girl body instead :S ) so, they let me keep this girl body and sent me the right order.

Even though I receive this misty rose skin body on Jan 2011, but the girl body seem a little yellow compare to the misty rose skin boy body which they sent to me after a mistake that why I couldn't say that peakswoods resin will match every minoruworld doll. It's very difficult for me to find a match resin colour for this one but in my case, peakswoods is a 95% match for me.

So, Loongsoul and Peakswoods White Skin seems to be very close according to matching comparisons, but anyone know how close would be Peakswoods + Loongsoul Normal skin?

Hi, I'm looking for some good resin matches to Peak's Woods - I'm not bothered if its normal or white skin tone - I'm looking to get a Punky Beetle head but wanted something with great posing so my top choices would be Luts KDF or Dollzone.

I have a Fairyland Minifee Shiwoo and a Peakswood FOF Vampire Hucky. They are both from 2011 and normal skin. It's been raining for the past few days so I've had to use a flash for this photo. That's why Shiwoo's left arm is weirdly brighter... Anyway, the resin match is actually quite good and the difference is almost unnoticeable in real life. Fairyland is just a tiny bit pinker and darker.

About the resin match (ns): Luts is a bit less pink and more bright, but I think it can work ^^
But my HDF and my Ladybee are both 1-2 years old, the match with my KDF, that is older, is not good,
Luts resin became too yellow >___<

So maybe not exactly on-topic, but shown to demonstrate resin matching: this is normal skin Naomi (an older pale one) with Dollmore 12" FMD body, also normal. Not bad for color!

This is a horrible picture but I also have a PW on a Zaoll, only in NS. Match isn't terrible, but the Zaoll body was second hand, bought in 2011, and it's definitely de-pinked in that way that Dollmore dolls do. My newer, straight from Dollmore Zaoll is pinker and doesn't match as well.

This particular body used to belong to a boy, so it's boobless, but oddly she fits in more clothes that way, so I'm leaving it.
And now she's even more hybrided as she has Delf hands XD
I love this combo, I wanted a shorter, girly girl and she is pretty perfect!
