History/Bio: Zephyr is a tomboy, but that's not to say she isn't girly sometimes. She seems to prefer skirts, but a dress is right out. She's 12 years old, and in many ways obviously still a child, but she likes to think she's pretty mature. She likes rock music and will swear she never liked female pop stars just a few years ago. She has a secret crush that is often the subject of her entries in her journal she keeps. He's much older than her, though, and I doubt he'd even give her the time of day. XD She is heavily in tune with the air element, and clearly exhibits traits of the Fae. She's a priestess in training and often enjoys listening to Aqua instruct on the balance of magic and power. Part of Aqua's punishment is to train Zephyr, so she can make it difficult for Zephyr sometimes, but she enjoys a challenge. Zephyr loves to be in charge, often offering to watch or direct the little kids during big events or when they need babysat. She's also a bit of a punk rocker/goth kid, preferring clothes that are "alternative," hence her aversion to most dresses. When doing her priestess training, she has a blue short kimono she wears.

History/Bio: (be warned the beginning is kind of tragic)
Hayden basically led a really normal childhood, with a loving family and a cute little doggy named Max. He was currently in school and in the eighth grade. He was an A student, had lots of friends, and was on good terms with teachers and other adults. On just any average day, his father was driving him to soccer practice. Suddenly, a wayward car came swerving on the wrong side of the road, heading right for them. Hayden's father, out of pure shock, was a little too slow to react properly. The car came right for them and hit head-on. Hayden, being so much younger and fragile than his father, who suffered from some broken bones and a concussion. Hayden died almost instantly.

Hayden awoke. He hadn't realized that he was dead, and was wondering why he was lying right in the middle of the soccer field. He hadn't even remembered getting there. He looked around, but there was something different about his surroundings... It seemed darker, like evening almost. There was no one to be seen anywhere; not his father, soccer coach, or random person walking their dog or jogging by. He turned around and there was a man standing there. He called Hayden over, and Hayden did so. The man called himself A, and wouldn't give any more information about himself.

After a bit of explaining and a lot of protest from Hayden, he finally realized he had died. This world was kind of like a purgatory, he was stuck here for reasons unknown. A explained to him that Hayden had a purpose here, and he was to do tasks for him. What kind of tasks, Hayden asked. A replied that Hayden was to guide new souls through this town in purgatory. Tell them how to move on, help them with whatever they need. Hayden had no choice but to say yes, or he would be fated to wander purgatory with no help whatsoever.

A had granted Hayden the powers necessary to help guide these lost souls, which included a "spiffy" (in A's words) new eye which allowed him to see certain things. Hayden went through a few years of training with A, and learned how to properly use his eye and how not to freak people out with it. A also taught Hayden how he could get himself back to Earth to just... Wander, in a human form.

Soon after leaving his training to become a full-time "Soul Guider", Hayden met Marlowe. And life went on.

Anything Else: To an average human, Hayden's human form does not look completely like him, his eyes are different and his hair is different as well. This is so people who used to know him wouldn't recognize him and be completely freaked out that a dead person is finally alive. Also, Hayden's eye allows him to see the names of people without having to ask, and such details about when they died and any conditions they have. Hayden's eye also allows him to understand whatever language the person is speaking, and for him to speak perfectly back to them in that language. Don't ask how an eye does that, but it does.~
