Dolls with short hair

Around the board and everywhere else, it seems like all the elves I've seen have had shoulder length or longer hair. I'm planning on owning a few elves eventually, but their character designs have them with hair that doesn't hide their ears! But I'd like to see what this looks like on other elves--any kind. Big ears, little ears, modded, LE heads, whatever. As long as it's an elf and the hair is short.

This is NOT a short wig, but the two braids do allow Orin's ears to show - and isn't that the whole point with an Elf???

Its kinda hard since I don't have any wigs that fit snug against the line of his face.

 

My boyfriend was asking me, and now I'm curious to know... do they make wigs or do any of you own dolls with SHORT hair (above ear length)? I searched around but with no luck...

 

This is the shortest wig I have right now for my Brody. I'm going to get a Reve en Poupee wig either today or tomorrow that SHOULD be much, much shorter. I'll post that one, too, depending on how it comes out.

I guess this applies, I have an Angel Elf Soo with semi-short medium length hair, but I'm not sure how well you can see it in these pictures, I took these mainly for the face-up. I am planning on getting a fur wig for her eventually, though:




I've also got some really old pics that I doubt you'll want, because they look like crap. Hope these help. The wig isn't exactly short, about shoulder length, but it's not something you usually see on a Soo.

 

Here are my pics of my AES with a short pink fur wig that I made earlier this week. They were really cute but for some reason, Costa's skin looks yellow-ish in the pics with the black background and her face looks dirty (which it probably is).

My SungWoon (DIM Achernar) has a short wig, but I actually cut it to be that short. I was having a hard time finding a short wig that I liked. I actually want his hair to be shorter, but I chickened out in cutting the wig any more than I already did^^

I have the wig you're talking about in solid brown. It's an FCS only color, but it's really nice and hopefully will give you an idea of what it can look like on a doll:
