Bob style wigs

I dunno if this helps at all, but here's my SD13 Mimi in a bob from Volks (I don't know which number it is, but it's a pretty popular one). The great thing about them is that they look great on both boys and girls!

I'm interested to see all your mischievous, whimsical girls who have a bit of an attitude . By this I don't really mean 'sassy' or 'loud', but girls who have that sort of look which makes you wonder what they're thinking. If you could note the mould with your picture that would be lovely~

I'm also interested in seeing short wigs on girls and boys, particularly in black and, er... vibrant orange? Haha. Preferably not fur but I don't mind either way.

I would also love to see any dolls with bob cuts, ala the classic Louise Brooks 1920's look and the 1960's bobs. Is it hard to find these wigs pre-done, or would you suggest buying a longer wig and chopping/re-shaping it?



I guess you could say this is long term inspiration for my 2nd doll (I don't even have the first one yet! ... I'll probably wait a while before getting her) who is based on a whimsical short-haired girl who appears in some of my drawings and graphics work.

 

Just as it says. I am looking for a neat little bob for my first girlie and would love to see some wigs that might do the trick. Thanks!

I just got this wig from Dollmore, and trimmed it to look like these pictures. Here it is on my Akiko (DollnDoll Shade):

I'm primarily looking for true, flapper style wigs, but modern and asymmetrical styles are welcome too.

 

I think this one has more of a "flapper" style to it, especially with the headband thingy. I started with a a long straight wig with long bangs and styled it myself. The ragged edges are intentional (that's my story and I'm stickin' to it).

I love bobs. They're really difficult to get fro dolls hto, unless you want a longer one with bangs, like what most people've posted.
The 20s short bobs are impossible to get right for a doll, unless you cut the wig yourself.

Here's my girl's bob, as close as I could get it to look like a Louise Brooks type bob.

It's a monique wig, it was already a short hairstyle but I cut it shorter.

 

My MiniFee Rheia wears a bob wig from Fairyland. It is a longer style bob.

 

I ended up getting the Yuri and hacking at it. I am no hairdresser, and I am sure you could do a better job yourself, but here it is, on two different models.
