Personality: Lillie is a quiet introvert. She's not intentionally introverted, but other children tend to avoid her. Lillie is not really shy around other people, but rather, finds there isn't much to say. She's quite contented to do her own things, like reading and doing crafts. (She likes making puppets.) Lillie is well read for her age and does well in school. She likes her big sister, but thinks that Roberta is pretty silly and immature at times.

Brief History:
Charlotte is the sole daughter and heiress to the Verdelet family. She spends most of her time at their Manor and estate in Buckinghamshire, surrounded by servants and her one exasperated nurse. Charlotte's father is a noted scholar, egyptologist, orientalist and archaeologist. He is currently in Egypt with Sir William Flinders Petrie, uncovering mummies and desert tombs. Charlotte has a great admiration for her 'explorer' father, and awaits his return with much anticipation. A romantic, mysterious child with a head full of faeries and dirty feet beneath her expensive skirts, she lives a life tucked away from harsh reality, innocence preserved by her own daydreams and fantasies.

Personality: Sweet and polite and with a keen intellect, Catrin nevertheless loves dark gothic literature and old folk histories. She has a courtier's manners, but in the presence of a trusted few, her wit and pointed sense of humour occasionally bubble to the surface. Cait has the mind of a future Oxford scholar, fascinated by all aspects of learning and relentless in her pursuit of the gnarled roots of knowledge.
Catrin, like so many fey born in the twentieth century, is only half Sidhe. Her mother, Siwan, died when she was seven, so she was passed into the hands of her uncle, Llewelyn. She loves her uncle with an adoration that borders on hero worship. It was Llew who first encouraged her inquiring mind and he has taught her the basis of nearly everything she knows. Even so, Cait has often longed for the company of people her own age. She keeps her loneliness to herself however, for fear of upsetting Llew, who has lost so much already.

Personality: Like a little bird, Alérion lives her life in fits and spurts -- alternating between spontaneous bursts of chatter and prattle, and complete silence; lively energy and quiet stillness. Often quiet, curious and very observant. She is rather wary and can smell ill intentions a mile away, but once she feels secure she's very trusting. Alérion doesn't know how to read, has no interest in complex learning, but makes up for it with very keen powers of intuition and observation; she most likely knows more about you than you'd expect!
