Wigs Crobidoll - Wigs

I have heard some stories about them sending out wrong wig sizes and not being helpful to fix problem. I have bought wigs from there and luckily I have no such problem. I feel the quality of the wig is pretty good.

 

I have CRWML-10 in light black. I think it's really nice, it's super easy to style and photographs really well.

I bought this when my friend bought her doll at crobi. The wig is the exact wig I wanted and it's the softest wig I ever had by far. Very lovely tone of black too -loves natural black color- CRWL-9 (Light Black)



I think they already started to label their wig now like other companies too, which is a good start...

 

Here's my girl in her Crobidol wig, its ment to be black.. but more of a very dark brown.. I really do love it and its so soft.

Also Question: Do Crobidoll wigs run large or small? I was hopping to get one for the MD Ryu I'm planning on getting. But I'm worried the 9-10 size will be too big. They dont have many 8-9s

 

the 9-10 fits my CP boys, and they have big fat heads so they might be a little big on a ryu.

i bought it with my Yeon-Ho and it is too big for him,
im going to have to sew it down a bit, but what really
annoys me is that they show him in that wig -.-
Also the the wig is a tad darker than i thought it would be.

Noename - My Ryu is wearing the same CRWL-10 type A (Ivory Gradation) in a 9-10" and it's rather large. Because it's a fur wig, it's not as obvious, and I got him a silicone wig cap from Luts, which works very well at keeping the wig all the way on his head (it tended to ride up and not lay flat against his head, and get knocked off his head a lot). I haven't taken any pictures yet (after the wig cap) but here are some pics from before:

I don't have any experience with Crobi's 9-10" fiber wigs, but I've heard that the new fur wigs with the stretchy wig caps will fit smaller heads (like Chrom's) easier. Chrom's head is a little smaller than Ryu's, so it might work...

In fact I bought that same style SD size in black even though I have no use for it. LOL. I love soft they are, and they look very natural!

As far as service goes aside from lack of stock ive had no problems with crobidoll and everything arrived quickly no items missing, nothing like that. The people were very friendly to me too the one time i contacted them previously. I also enjoy this wig alot because the color is fantastic and its so easy to style and photograph

Sizes are all 9-10. A lot smaller than the usual 9-10 but stretchy. Fits my Elfdoll Wu so it should fit most XD

I have CRWL-22 in the red color. I LOVE it. It's so easy to move and style and it fits my Chrom perfectly. I'll post a picture once I get his head back from faceup.

I have a crobi wig..
i must say that its really good quality! (in comparison to a couple of Luts wigs i have, which are falling apart!) this crobi one im very satisfied with.
I did have to trim it a little, because it didnt suit my preferences, may be i shouldve just gotten another wig, but im good with it. and since its so strong, it took the trimming procedure well.

Bump, can I get a second on 9-10 wigs not fitting smaller heads? Also, my personal pet peeve is being able to see the netting through the wig, can anyone tell me about these wigs in that regard?

 

Do you mean it's too big for smaller heads? Being able to see hairnet at the bangs sometimes, yes. When the hairnet is black sometimes it happens. Leeke sometimes does this too it's really random.

 

well others said that 9-10 wigs would not fit 8-9 heads so i just want to get a second opinion on that.

 

@E.Hadrian: I just got my Crobidoll 9-10 wig today for my MD Miho (I see you have a Miho), and it fits perfectly. I couldn't believe how well it fit. I was expecting it to be bigger, but it's amazing! It stays on with only 1 thin rubber band, and fits think its even better than my Delf-sized mohair wig. As for netting, I can't even see a thread of it. It's also elastic and stretchy to fit different sizes of heads.

I hear that the fur wigs have an elastic band now too, to fit more heads. Which wig are you looking at? =D

 

my vampire miho wore Crobi 9-10 wig before too and it fits him fine although he is not a regular miho but also a 8-9 size head. I actually think some of crobi's wig run sort of small. My Hikaru Genji also used a crobi 9-10 wig with no problem (he is also a small head).

A question.. Am I right in assuming CRWL-20 and CRWL-22 is generally the same except for the longer strands of hair?
I mean I like the way they have the bangs sitting in CRWL-22 which is drawing me to that wig more but if they're the same it's rather pointless me buying the longer hair because I would be cutting away the longer strands for my boy's style doesn't need those... it seems in the company pictures they're the same.. just bangs set differently.. but I want to make sure my assumption is correct.

I bought both in the past. The wig is the same STYLE except 22 is longer in the back. However for some reason I could not style the bangs differently for 20 so they always just straight straight above the forehead, unlike 22 I can move the bangs around (not by a lot but a little bit). The bangs for 20 feels much thicker and harder, but for 22 the bangs are softer and a little thinner? Was it just me? I don't remember exactly because I have sold the 20s I have and only kept the 22. I really don't see why they would make the 2 wigs differently like this though....so perhaps I remembered it wrong. I couldn't figure out how to style and use 22 properly until way later anyway. So perhaps if I kept the 20s and gave them a chance they'd work out for me also.

To anyone with the fur wigs, how's the quality of them? I'm thinking of buying one...

 

Quality is great on the one above, just to small for the doll I had wanted it for (maybe they'd shipped me wrong one?). Besides that, the wig was hemmed and stretchy.

Maybe they did sent you the wrong one or they're just smaller :/ So it cannot stretch enough to fit your 9-10 head?

 

I have crobi doll fur wig, which is quite good
It needs a little bit organze though.

 

bulletsBANQ: It was a huge struggle to fit it on the 9-10 head and randomly would fly off, and it still fit quite snug on my chrom. I do think they sent me the wrong size.

But besides that little problem it was of good quality.

Crobi wigs aren't heat resisting, but they are lovely quality and softness. As for the fur wigs, they're very thick and full, they don't shed a lot, and they're hemmed in the front to keep them from showing raw edge. My Crobi Nia wears a 9-10 white fur wig (CRWL-10, if I'm remembering properly), and my CP Moon and Crobi Yeon-Ho have modeled several other wig styles from Crobi.

The fiber wigs do NOT stretch as much as many other companies' do, so don't buy a size down expecting it to be too loose. Buy the advertised size for your doll's head and you'll be okay.

 

Hi guys, I was wondering if the light black wigs are really black or just dark brown in person? I'm planning on getting a dark brown wig but I think powder brown is a little too light. >__<

Crobi "light black" wigs are actually black. But instead of being ink-black, they are a more natural black. Think about the difference between natural black hair and dyed black hair? Like that.

The fur wigs, however, are truly ink black.

 

So I've gotten my Dark Red CD wig.

x. First thing I thought when I saw it was "HOLY ****! It's freaking huge!" It's x2 the size of one of my MSD head @______@
x. This wig is seriously the fullest and thickest wig I've seen/owned. And it doesnt shed much!
x. Wig is very good quality though, but kinda hard to style as it keeps reverting to the same place and it's not that soft. Though after I conditioned it, it became softer and much easier to style.
x. I had doubts that it was 7-8 cause it fit on my 6-7 heads perfectly, but it does stretch to fit my 7-8 head as well.
x. I'd say it's a wine-ish color in real life and photographs more-red though[maybe it's my camera?]
