He looks very handsome! he kinda reminds me of Shiwoo though which is not a bad thing *shwioo love*

 

I'm really loving this doll. He would be the perfect younger brother for my Peroth. I wonder if I could get the head separately? *hopes*

 

Junkets, you aren't the only one hoping to get the head separately. He's absolutely gorgeous. Why, oh why is there this sudden explosion of lovely new boys? It's almost like a conspiracy. They're coming out one after the other, it's just insane and it's throwing so many people into a frenzy. Myself included of course.

I'm kind of curious though, when I converted the price on the Korean site, it wasn't even 500.00, but on the English site he's over 600.00. It's more than likely that I converted wrong, but it just kind of threw me off for a moment. I tend to confuse easily.

 

would love to know if the female (Monica) will be available. Love her look. Though she really really reminds me of a cross between Elfdoll Soah and Ryung

I couldn't get the site to work in Firefox, but it showed up in IE.

 

I gave up on Safari (Mac) and used IE instead, which works fine.

I am guessing the price is so high because he comes with Mystic urethane eyes (!!).

Anyway, my heart skipped a beat when I saw this boy, I am in absolute love with him, which is saying something since I never save for the big guys. But I'm also a little confused about the whole price conversion thing...seems a little off-putting to have to pay so much extra for Mystics when you might not even want them -_-;

My job is to save up now- but I saw that someone asked about currency?
I just checked now and though xe.com says approx. 1300KRW = 1USD, in reality most Korean Banks seems to do 1200KRW = 1USD.
On their Korean website, they have Kliff up for 600,000 KRW which should be approximately 500 USD.
This means the price they have up on the English board is WRONG!! They added 150USD more to the right price.
I think if I was to order this guy, I'm going to transfer my balance to my Korean bank account and then pay Little Monica for him.
That way I can save my 150USD XD

Yeast, it seems other people were also speculating about the weird price change from Korean currency to US dollars..but never really any follow up. Would you perhaps be able to post a question to those of Little Monica in Korean to maybe clear up that discrepancy?

I really, really adore this boy and as I'm trying to save for him it would be really helpful to know what's up with that extra $150 ^^;

i just saw this company today and I'm really loving Kliff. and yes, that USD price is scaring me off a bit.

well, if you click the the "buy it now", it goes to a page that seems like it'll be a transaction thru paypal. would the $150 be paypal fees?

$150 can't be paypal fees. I believe the most paypal charges for cc payment is 4%, which should make it to $20 fee.
I left them a message so we'll see what they say.. because it's very unfair for any of us ^__^;;
I noticed that other companies (even the more known ones) are lowering their USD price down due to currency change
and I don't see why Little Monica shouldn't... but yet, that's just me.

And as for US Bank Transfer to a Korean Bank account, I'm not sure if they'll take it
because lot of Korean Bank account takes about $40 transfer fee... It all depends on the bank you are using.
I think my Korean Bank takes about $30 receiving transfer fee if it's international..
So ultimately as long as they change their price down, it's better to pay through paypal since fees are lower.

 

Yes, I have to agree in that alot of companies are docking down their prices because of the fluctuating economy, I sort of hope Little Monica will also join in... Hopefully they answer back to yeast quickly because even though I agree, it does seem a little unfair that the prices are changed so drastically, there's not a whole lot we can do about it, it'll at least help to have some type of answer.

Either way, not going to stop me on my saving for this gorgeous boy

 

4% is for cc payments, but you've got to consider a transaction fee, a conversion fee and probably a business fee as well. I dont know what the total percentage would be if you add those extra fees with the 4% fee, but I know it's definitely not going to be 4% but more than that.

I only thought it'd be paypal fees because in the Angell Studio room for their limited 70-75cm (?) dolls, there were paypal fees that approximated to $100-$200. So I'd assume that this could be the same case.

I guess we shall see when we get an answer...

 

Aha! I just got a reply back from Little Monica.
They said that price was determined before they had the website up and it was when the currency didn't drop so much.
They are aware of how much the currency has dropped and due to many concerns from international customers,
they are discussing about the price of Kliff within the company.
They said they won't know anything for sure on Kliff's price until everything is fully discussed within Little Monica staffs.

Personally, if I save up enough money for him before they change the price,
I think I'll just buy through their Korean website and pay through bank transfer...

It's uplifting to hear that they are considering dropping the price a bit and I really hope they sort out any decisions they want to make soon. I'm really hoping to order him in time for Christmas, but if they are considering a price change then that makes things a little difficult >.<

When i tryed to access the site www.littlemonica.co.kr in english,it popped out a bunch of virus or something,so i had to close it...Thats annoying...

 

I agree with Animorpher. my anti-virus program blocked the site but before it was working fine.

Oh my, I'm really liking the Harmony line boy's body. At first the somewhat harsh line of the chest join turned me off, but the posing looks quite natural. Another body to consider for Lilith once I finally get him.

Is anyone else still getting a warning regarding the Little Monica site? My anti-virus program won' t let the site load, but the program I use is really sensitive so I was wondering if anyone else is getting the warning?

 

uhm...I just get this warning at school...but at home it's ok...I use safari...

 

Nothing wrong in my side..... No warning whatsoever, and I use antivirus... But I also use popup blocker and ad blocker too, maybe it's something in the popup and ad?....

Though it may just be an oversensitive anti virus... I get that sometimes when I try to load programs xD

Btw, Sarubia is not my type but I really love the dress and the photos... I think LM did a really good job photographing her

 

Thanks for the warning advice! I suspected it was my program being trigger-happy but I didn't want to take any chances. I will try turning it off when I want to go the Little Monica site.

Ah, so I'm not alone in noticing same vibes from LM and Dreaming Doll!! What's more, their lines are similar too! LM has the "harmony" tag, while DD has the "elva" tag with same size name... Like "harmony" and "elva" for SD sized, "little harmony" and "little elva" for MSDs, and "honey harmony" and "honey elva" for their Yo-SD.....

And they (so far) have released SD and Yo-SD only!! Anyone smell the word "conspiration theory" here?? xDDD

Yeah they're both korean... and one more thing, their SD girl body looks reeeeeally similar, in sculpt and size.... Maybe the differences is DD body seems to have thigh joint? But it doesn't look clearly in the pics.... And their hands and feet are different too....

I think maybe the sculptors of LM and DD are friends? Maybe they also share the same factory for making their dolls, that's why their resin looks similar.... And they use the same pics for WS and NS comparison, just added the name of their own company xDD

Well they share the same business fate too : Both are underrated in DOA
DD is worse, nobody here owns the Elva girls, while I think they're wonderful and affordable... In fact after Luna and Enrill/Dyuke, I plan to have DD Sally in WS.. I agree with you, the sculpts have some kind of "purity" just like LM...

To clear some of your suspicions, Dreaming Doll and us manufacture our dolls in same factory.
I'm sure that our dolls and Dreaming Doll's will match for their skin color.
Our boss and their boss are very close. You can say they are friends. (Good guess lileychristie!)
You can find some more similarities of us and Dreaming Doll in some other places too~

Great to know they match~! I want to switch LM and DD girl hands, LM has delicate, beautiful hands while DD has seperate hands that are perfect for gloves and rings ^o^

And oh, by the way, do you have any plans to add thigh joints to your girl body? Because your boy body poses awesomely with the thigh joint, I wonder why the girls don't have one?

The reason why girl's body doesn't have the thigh joint is that our sculptor decided to focus on the beauty of the leg line than the posability.
We are still planning for our Little Harmony. We(especially our sculptor) were too busy with making other dolls.
(You know that our sculptor made some dolls for nDoll. ^^)
