Personality: Lisette is cocky, sultry and bold. She has a penchant for excess and a lust for her own satisfaction that drives her far beyond many expectations. Many find her cold or confronting, but under her brash surface a sweet and loving side hides away, reserved for very few whom she feels a real connection. She is a natural flirt, even with men whom she has no interest in, and often uses this to her advantage. She is naturally a leader and is sexually dominant in many of her short term flings, but as time goes on and her sweeter side comes out she falls naturally into a more neutral position, comfortable with taking the lead or being led herself. Above all Liz enjoys a good time, and as such is a frequent traveler and is almost always out on the town, taking in a show, seeing a band or spending time with a lover.

History: Lisette de Beaumanoir was born in 1774 to a wealthy General in Artois, France. A little shy in her youth she was ignored by her father while he pursued a male heir with her ailing mother.
When the revolution came it was a blessing in disguise for Lisette, pushing back her marriage arrangements several years until she was 19 years old.

On the day of her birthday her father invited several of the wealthiest of her suitors to the party, but fate would have other ideas, trapped away from the guests she was attacked by a vampire and turned by accident while the party was dealing with it's own problems. During this transformation her father's house was attacked by the townspeople, eager to experiment with the guillotine on her father's guests before setting fire to the house.
Her father and baby brother, along with her vampire sire were killed in the ensuing massacre as she barely made her escape.

Untrained in her new life Lisette met a vampire named Josephine who taught her the skills to feed and remain hidden, forging her new personality as she stripped away the fears and insecurities of her youth. When Lisette finally proclaimed her love to Josephine she was cast out into the cold streets of Paris and sought refuge in the newly built catacombs, finding her new home amongst the crypts, far from prying eyes.

Making her new life in the tunnels she met many vampire outcasts, eventually leading a band of clanless thieves making their living in the dead of night. As time went on Lisette amassed a small fortune as business boomed and opportunities arose, quickly rocketing her to a queen of the literal underworld. But alas as their operations became more successful they also drew unwanted attention to their kind, and it was not long before zealots and clan leaders alike wanted their activities stopped by any means neccessary. Her band slowly being destroyed by attacks Lisette left the catacombs to start a new life on the surface, taking only her most trusted with her to explore new business.

With her amassed wealth it was not long before Lisette was able to phase out most dangerous criminal activities and focus on legitimate sources of income, setting herself up as an accomplished businesswoman under the guise of men who barely knew who they truly worked for.

When the second world war hit Lisette was forced back into bootlegging and smuggling, during the occupation of France she was a vital part of the blackmarket and the local resistance. Purchasing a club in the heart of Paris she transformed it into La Lune Bleue, the greatest burlesque club of it's time, and one which smugly took the coins straight from the enemy soldiers and fed them right back into the resistance.

After the war Lisette continued with the club for many years before it was shut down to protect her identity, instead re-opening many years later as a bar and nightclub named Maison des Nocturne. This club would soon not only become a proud supporter of the growing musical movements but also act as a safehouse and meeting point for vampires all over Europe. It was here that Lisette met Bella Malkain, a demon woman who would soon become her closest and more treasured lover to date.

As time went on and her investments grew Lisette soon branched out to buy properties and businesses all over the world, managed by her associates she reaps the benefits of these investments while focusing on the club which still gives her great joy and satisfaction. After a fateful meeting and the acquisition of a new lover in Amanita of the Emerald Dragon, Lisette now expands her vampire business into Asia and has begun to establish an empire far beyond anything previously expected of a clanless upstart.
