Personality: Reuben has a messiah complex and is driven to succeed by his self imposed obligations to the human race. He's uptight and tense, and doesn't trust himself, let alone others. His only comfort lies in his immortality and that he will one day travel to the planet his people come from, where he will learn and grow as a member of the Ortaran race.
Backstory: Reuben is the son of Hayden and Imja. He is half Ortaran and half Sidian, his father's side of which gives him cosmic/alien power beyond human comprehension, and his mother's side gives him an unbreakable, eternal body.He is considered one of the most powerful entities in the known universe, however much of his potential is limited by his place among humans.

He acts as a vigilante for some years, before the murder of his girlfriend, Lauren Portman, sends him into a spiral of despair and hopelessness. He turns against his father and uncle, siding with the invading Ortaran, Siam, and leaves for Ortar to learn more about his people. Years later, Reuben returns to Earth with Siam and imprisons his father, Hayden, reforming Earth into a planet-wide distopia.

Siam, however, regrets turning Reuben into what he became, and travels back in time and kills the Siam of that time, thus rendering Reuben unable to travel to Ortar. He stays in that timeline and teaches Reuben how to utilise his powers, and Reuben takes the position to represent Earth in the battle between/for the lands of Umbra, Ortar, and Earth, and all the creatures that dwell in them.

A lot of tribulation later, Volya found himself a member of a Chicago crime organiztion due to his comraderary with the Boss's son, Antares. Much has happened over the years and the organization stands to be taken over by Antares... who has a much different view on the world than his forefathers. Between Antares, Volya and Dominic the three young men are going to rework the family. Or die trying, anyway!
