Theme World of Warcraft Cosplay

A friend told me about this thread so I had to come, an share my warlock.

My... Forsaken warlock, Stark Ravenmad.

According to lore the Forsaken is suposed to be made of humans an high elves that died in the 3rd war, but in the game Lady Sylvanas is the only elf looking character... but that didn't stop me >3

She's a Dollmore Noir asha, that I've repainted. Her arm moddifications were done to extra normal skin peices I had an painted an distressed. I'm still having a time finding a proper wig for her... I can find the colour in MSD size. But not the style I'm looking for -_- Her toes are also modded to have the bones exposed, but I haven't taken any pics of those yet, tho I really like how they turned out...

I'm also working on my Warlocks demons, thou with most of them I've taken liberties with them to be able to make them in doll form... since I can't summon blueberry clouds >>; The Succubus is apparently discussed as an elf at the momment till I get her new legs done >.<;

 

Oh, an one more shot... My Forsaken, and one of Solen's Blood elves. Neither of them have their In-game outfits done yet... I'm to backed up on work @_@

 

Yep, Lindemann up there is mine all mine. I already have two of my bloodelves as dolls, and plan to have two, maybe three more, as well as a nightelf and a Draenei male. Oh, and a Voidwalker O_o;; EDIT: and a female Orc! I always forget about Roxxanne.
Bloodelves are to me as mana is to them XD;;

These two are Lindemann, my male bloodelf paladin, and Vaaria, my female bloodelf warlock.








Their eyes are just temporary home-made ones for now, I plan to get them some proper ones soonish. I just think these are awesome because I used glow-in-the-dark paint on them XD

 

I have 3 blood elf in house ^_^. Viridian, Imarus and Derneus.

They don't wear WOW clothes, they arrive to this world because the teleport in silvermoon is broken XDDD. Poor Boys XD.

This is Imarus, The paladin blood elf of my husband. Is the Little brother of Derneus. (Is a Dollzone Wing, with bad makeup by me, pending in change the eyes)


Derneus is the big brother of Imarus, he is a Rogue ^_^, another elf of my husband (all the family are rogues, except the black sheep of imarus) (is a Juri A 07 with makeup by Gothland -kat- and pending to change eyes and wig)


The last is my lovely Viridian, my sweet and Soooo gay hunter ^_^. In love with Derneus XD, but derneus don't like the men in the form that wants viridian XD. (Is a limited Luwen with makeup by gothland - kat- and pending change her eyes)

Well, not sure if my Bambicrony Light Slate Gray elf counts, but his character came becuase my husband plays WOW and when I mentioned the color he thought he'd be great.

Solen-- I love the eyes you picked up for your BloodElf. ^^ What mould is that you're using for your Forsaken?

Edit: I. Love. Feather eyebrows. X3 I'm seriously contemplating making one of my WoW characters into a doll now... I'd love to do my Draenai, but I don't know how I'd get her horns without having them custom made.

 

X3 She's a MNF Seorin head on a dollZone girl body. I picked the cheaper body specifically for the fact that we'll be hacking it apart.. haha.

I don't know if it counts if I don't have anything super complete yet, but I made glowing green eyes and custom blood elf detachable ears so that I can (hopefully) make a bjd of Kael'thas. Need to figure out how to do eyebrows.. D:

I need to replace the eyebrows on my doll of my BE Paladin. They're getting a little rumpled, and I figured out a trick to smoothing the feather eyebrows so that they don't look as feathery and more like the actual BE brows.

And this would be my draenei, Jack but she's full of fail cause her horn fell off and I'm going to make her proper legs and everything. And she needs different eyes aswell =_=

 

Any chance you could share your knowledge on how to work the eyebrows?

I don't have anything complete either, but am working on a bit of Blind cosplay (http://www.vimeo.com/2625538).
But since eyes are popular, here are the blood elf eyes I cast a few weeks ago.

 

Sure! Like I said, I've been using craft feathers for the brows, but on my DK (who I need to get pics of) I mixed a little glue and water, and used it to slick the feathers down, so they're not as floofy as my pali's brows.

 

Snow-- Holy CRAP, Nymrah is gorgeous! I'm so impressed! I didn't like the Bobobie/Resinsoul purple before, but she's fantastic and her faceup is really good. I really like your Draenei, too, although I'm sad her other horn fell off. T_T I'm still considering getting a Draenei MNM in the distant future if DIM makes MSD MNMs available again. She'd have to be with my character's face and horns, though, so it couldn't be the current Draenei order, which I'm bummed about. I'd also have to get a WS, because I'd need to dye her a bright blue... XD

If I may ask, how did you attach the tail? Magnets? Is it just hooked into the pants? And where did you get Nymrah's bow? I keep looking for MSD-sized bows and arrows, but I can't find any.

I did see a MNM draenei floating around a while back, but she was SD I think. I still need to make her new horns and attatch them with magnets.
Her tail is actually attatched with a wire through her torso, and it can move around and up and down. I can always take it off and do it with magnets cause there's just a tiny hole in her torso.
I actually got the bow from a forum member here. Her boyfriend carved it and she painted it

Avestar, my Night Elf druid. She's a Bobobie Ju in WS, and soon to get a WS MNF body. Look for her as Avstar on Aerie Peak. Face-up by VisualK, outfit and staff by me (who was pissed because I couldn't take pics outside that day).

 

Kael now has eyebrows and a haircut. A million posts in this thread got deleted, including the ones explaining how to attach the feather eyebrows (I think?) so I had to sort of wing it. I used hot glue to attach them and even though I had to take them off and reattach them twice, no harm was done to the face up.

 

How about a tiny night elf hunter? Cael also has a tiger pet and a turtle mount.

I loved his default eyes, so he doesn't have the shiny NE eyes yet. Nor have I decided what to do with his face. So he may not be complete just yet.

I bought her custom eyes with the green pupils and the metallic look. They're hard to photograph but totally finish the image!

This is my night elf Sariah. She is a DD2 body with an Obitsu Haruka head. I took her completely apart (no easy task) then dyed her purple. I then had fun putting her back together (yeah right lol It was actually way harder than taking her apart) -

Okay so to be honest I'm a bit of a WoW nerd, that being the case I'd like to see other dolls cosplaying as WoW classes and the such.

So there's my boy dressed up as a Blood Elf warlock. ^w^ He even has himself a little mana potion bottle.

 

Here's Xanthia my forsaken warlock. My daughter was helping her stand up. I still need to get her spots on her face and get her accessories done. Her tiny succubus is on order, I'm just waiting on DDE to receive her so they can ship her to me. She'll take a lot longer to finish than Xan will, but I'll post pics of them together when I get her anyway.

Here's MasterJinn's Draenei Mage...Tailia, in her street clothes visiting his folks this last week-end. A BBB/RS Ai... blue skin, LeekeWorld horns and custom glow in the dark blue eyes from Shelly. Hopefully she will have her proper clothes before A-kon in 2 weeks.

I'm rerolling this character into a new Soom Super Gem, but here she was in her Dolkot incarnation when I finished my paladin Libram. Eyes are also by Shelly, but not the glow ones. I'm going to try a few new eyes/wigs combos for the new version of Deathbunnie when I get my commissioned costume done For now, pardon her nekkidness!

....er, and the Wow setup in the background.

 

Okay so...sorry for the spam kinda but I was so happy when I got my eyes today I wanted to share >.< It just makes me want to start working on Castielle's ears right now! Gao...I think I've gotten myself into trouble lol

Anyway this is my BE who is a head at the moment and needs a lot off work! But, hopefully one day she'll be all put together. >.<

As for the eyes, which one's of Shelly's did you order? I'd totally get the same ones for my Deathbunnie. Her current ones are glass ones from Hemlock here on DoA:

Please excuse her paper-clip hands, I am in the process of giving her blood-elf red fingernails.

 

Anneke - They're number 75 from 'the mostly non pupil chart' I definitely recommend them ^.^ I'm in love with them. I personally think they're perfect for a BE but that's just my opinion lol >.<

I keep seeing a lot of shorter ears for their elves...I'm really wanting to mod mine longer but I'm kinda nervous about it seeing all these shorter ears makes me think maybe I shouldn't >.<

 

I started blushing my baby succubus pink last night. Wasn't real thrilled with it until I walked away and came back. It just wasn't dark enough for me until I took some time off and I was surprised at how pink it really was. After I get her body done I'm gonna start on her hooves. I just hope I can get her legs retrung.

 

LED eyes are basically just eyes with LEDs put in them. I know someone on DoA sold them using clay and LEDs. I made a pair with hot glue and LEDs that works similarly.



You put batteries in and they light up.



Also, we tried discussing eyes, eyebrows, and methods of customization in this thread before and were told it was off topic for this subforum and a lot of information was lost. I was told, however, that it was okay to discuss such things in the customization subforum, so if there's anything you'd be worried about forgetting or losing if it was deleted, we do have a thread over there too:

Not trying to lecture anyone. I just know I tried to refer back to this thread once for information in a post and it had been deleted along with several others that were just discussion without images.

For all of you who are making a Draenei doll - what did you make their tails with?? I need to make a tail for my doll, too, so I'd love to know. Was it just sculpey? Then magnets to hold it on?

 

I also tried Sculpey and Apoxie sculpt but then they were both too heavy. I finally tried Crayola air dry clay for the tail on my S.O. 's Draenei mage. When it dried I used acrylic paints to match the color to the resin. As for the problem of the magnets I embedded one in the end of the tail and when the clay was dry I used Epoxy glue to hold it in place.; for the body magnet I sandwiched a magnet in between 2 pieces of felt and glued it with white glue. Once dry I placed it in her costume, correct polarity side out and the tail hangs off nicely, but can be removed when I put her in her case.

My Draenei has a cloth tail that is stuffed to make it full and a magnet to hold it on.

 

My S.O. Draenei Mage Tailia with head tails, horns and tail. I still need to give her body parts another coat of paint as they are a touch too blue and the sealer.

Picture time! OK well its not a replica of the movie version, that's for sure. But I'm happy with it! I used real leather from a ladies corset that I bought at a yard sale for a dollar like 5 years ago, and the cloth for the pants was yard sale as well, and some fake leather from a pair of pleather pants I wore probably 15 years ago. I actually forgot that I had that wig! I was so excited to find it.
Next steps is her tunic looking undershirt, paldrons, bracers, boots, and hair accessories

Wow, every picture in this thread is just amazing! I wish I have a proper doll to cospaly my troll Mage! I did have the longest tusk possible though, they are so majestic lol

 

Wow. WOW! That tier 2 pally armour is gorgeous! I'd love to see more pics if you have them (or if you did end up adding some more details).
