Well in my opinion sabik, a soom doll looks alot like Jareth. He's got those Bowie cheekbones that make me :fangirl. With a blond wig, that would be so hott. I plan to get him one day but he is $$$

I have seen some dolls on here that have been Jareth. I think Hound or that new Unidoll?

Another orly joke and the whole Labyrinth deal is off. To me Hound dolls look the most like David Bowie.

Mine (my sister's) is a Dollzone Recall 70cm. Most of what makes him Jareth is the Monique Starr wig, blue eyes, and his face-up.



Add the official replica necklace and you're in business.

Hmm, it seems a little known fact, but jareth has one blue eye, and one brown eye. Why, because David Bowie has one blue eye and one brown eye. Result of a fight as a child.

 

Bowie's eyes are both blue, his one pupil is dialated because he was punched by a friend wearing a ring. The actual condition is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heterochromia and he doesn't have it.

And my Jareth wants the other Jareth's belt.

 

Also a Labyrinth fan. Honestly, I judge people by whether they like that film or not- there has to be something really wrong with them if they don't heh

I too want to have a Jareth at some point, in the mean time here is a piccy of a doll (not mine unfortunately) and he would make a fab Goblin King- he;s probably what I would get, or a Sabik

 

Anyone have a Jareth with the different colored eyes? You know they are different right?

Jareth doesn't have 2 different colored eyes, but 1 small and 1 large pupil. Therefore it loofs different.
I had my Jareth eyes tailormade by Mystic Eyes for me. Expencive but worth every penny.
If you see photo's from David Bowie with two diferent eyecolors is is a colored contact lens

Think Pink-your Micah is great...Labrinyth has always been one of my favorite. When I get Kiyoko back from her face-up I may have to dress her up as Sara for a few pics...especially in the wonderful gown that she wore when they were in the masquerade...love that scene with all the masks and costumes.

I really wanted to do a Labyrinth inspired photo shoot someday. Maybe not a cosplay per say, but just inspired by it. I made a costume last year for myself for a ball that is inspired by the movie called Labyrinth of Jareth. It's out in the LA area. I kind of want to make a mini version of that costume for my doll (once I get her that is...). The character she's based on has a similar ball gown anyway. But I'm so totally in love with Labyrinth... Hopefully I'll get to do it at some point.

I love everyone's Jareths! The first time I saw Soom's pics of Sard I thought of Jareth, because of the way they did the eyebrows probably. So I honestly think he'd be a good candidate to use as well, if you can get your hands on one that is...

 

Oooo, you attend the Labyrinth of Jareth ball? It still goes on every year? You're so lucky. I've ALWAYS wanted to go to that ball, but unfortunately I live on the other side of the US. I wish they'd move it over to this side of the States some year. lol

 

i am starting a jereth doll and mine has the different colored eyes. that is what is striking me as odd, most of these dolls have blue or green eyes..david bowie has one blue and one green from an accident in his youth. if you want to make a jereth doll make it accurate.

 

Both of his eyes are blue, in young pictures of him they look as average as anyone else's. He was punched by a classmate wearing a ring, and the one eye just has a permanently dilated pupil but he encouraged the two different color eye thing for a long time. My sister worked with him once so she was up close.

Two different shades of blue can do the effect, a light blue for his regular eye and a dark blue for his special eye, unless you can find a place to get eyes with two different pupils. I have Masterpiece eyes in mine, Blue Star and ordered a different shade, Old World, for his twin Taffy because the idea was to do half and half. Lapis and Cobalt are fairly dark blue.

 

Yeah, the famous different eyes misconception... Of course, in reality his both eyes are blue-gray. I had my Minimee wear an Eyeco Blue Eclipse for the dilated one and a Morning Sky for the regular pupil.
