Background story: A werewolf. Connor's little brother. Liam's a sickly thing and as such wasn't sent off with all the other younger members of the pack. When the attack came his parents hid him in the cellar and it wasn't until the bloodlust had worn off the hunters that they found him. He was taken prisoner instead, and used as a demonstrative tool to teach the younger hunters about werewolves.
A shy, quiet boy to start with Liam grew more and more into himself and very rarely speaks. After a year or so spent this way one of the hunters children took pity on him and let Liam go.
He instantly returned to his village and set up home in Connor's old bedroom. Connor, on a trip back to pay his respects found him, and overjoyed brought his little brother back to Resinwolf house.
