Deej is definately my rocker. He's beyond musically talented, and he's what I like to refer to as 'Grown-Up Rocker'. He already went through the crazy hair and nutsy clothes stage in highschool, so now it's very toned down, but still rock influenced. He's covered in musical tattoos though.

I'm trying to get some up at the moment, but tiny pic is being reeeeally slow tonight. They're not all that horrible, I just don't have photoshop or anything to clean them up a bit with, so they're just the way I shot them. The prettiness of the pictures isn't the point though, so I'll add them to this post once I actually manage to get them uploaded.

Here's my tiny boy. He's my little goth boy/metalhead. How exactly those two genres mesh I'm not sure, but it works for him. He's mostly inspired by an odd combination of goth and metal (Marilyn Manson and the Cure) and the hairdo is actually supposed to be closer to a deathahwk than a mohawk, but it won't really stay combed back.


My DZ X, Mace, another goth/metal inspired boy. With him I wasn't thinking anyone specific.

Borrowed these shots from someone, I hope she doesn't mind. It's from our last meet. My boy is the one with the green mohawk. That's Rel, inspired by, oh, I dunno, pretty much every punk band that ever was, but by a few in specific. He dresses a LOT like I do. ( I wish I had pants like that. *tear*)


In this one, the boy in red and black and the blue girl are mine. Finn (the boy) is my emokid. XD Actually, I can't really figure out what Finn's style would be called. Maybe emo/punk? I'm not sure. He's definitely inspired by the slightly softer side of what I listen to. The girl is Ligeia. Her style is inspired by mine, just a little emore varied than mine is. She's a little bit of everything.

He's really my gothic rocker and hardcore HIM fan. XD He's just like me in that respect but he's also got a very peppy side to him. XD

He's my emo boy. He's into the metal and movies like The Crow. Hence is name sake. I have a sweater for him that makes him look even more like Eric Draven.

Remy is 70s punk/glam with some 80s hair band thrown in. The Suicide Girl belt he's wearing in a couple of these shots was inspired by my favourite hair band/glam rock outfitters from Kensington Market called Red Balls on Fire. They used to sell clothes to rock bands in London and they had these belts with nudie ladies on!:

OK then! While it is true that I didn't base my dolls on any real rockstars, it's also true that I often seem to wind up dressing them like my rockstar-type ex-boyfriends. XD It's funny.

Here is Jimmy [Volks Rei-Tenshi] thinking he's some kind of Yngwie Malmsteen podling with Sigue Sigue Sputnik hair.


When Lalyraa [Soom Vega] changes out of his fins & into some pants, he looks alarmingly like Joy-Division-Freak Boyfriend #1, circa 1989:



Seiya [Volks Isao v1], in his trashed-up tuxedo coat, seems to be channelling both Boyfriends #2 & 4:



Stavros [Limho tan Mano] looks like most no-frills rocker types you'd find attending a small bar-show on a weeknight (Boyfriend #3):



Kaiya [Volks SchoolHead A] has been known to go grunge, or to disguise his normally-classy self as a headbanger. Here he is channelling someone who's just fought his way out of the pit at a Napalm Death show and lost his shirt (Boyfriend #9 or thereabouts):



Adrian [Volks Yukinojo] always looks like he's just fought his way out of the pit at a Napalm Death show. I can't do a thing with that hair.



Sora [Volks Shiro v1] also wants to be in Sigue Sigue Sputnik when he grows up:



Ilya [IP tan Soo Ri v1], on the other hand, won't rest until they let him into the Electric Hellfire Club.

All of my boys are son's of real life rock stars, though in real life these guys could not have sons the age of my boys. Quinn is the only one that even attempts look like his rock star dad. He is actually base on an RP character whose face is Mikey Way.

Long ago, Volks also made those New Rock knockoffs, for Isao version 2. You could always tell Isao was a little rich slummer rivethead in j-rocker's clothing. But damn them, they didn't go on to sell those boots in regular stock!

...AND they don't come with the metal bumpers on the front, and Cherishdoll's also win on having the little medallion just-so too. I love those red ones.

Sakuma Ryuichi is the vocalist of Nittle Grasper, from the manga/anime 'Gravitation.'

Here's a OLD pic of Ryuichi [CP/Delf Shiwoo] with his factory faceup and one of the first wigs he ever had. Gelfling21's El Kitsune is playing the part of Ukai Noriko and Java-Wolf's Yder Kahlua is playing the part of Seguchi Tohma from Grasper.

Ryuichi recently got a pair of gold spandex pants.









His hands are three years old, and his FL Feeple60 body is a month old, so there's currently a resin mismatch, but otherwise I LOVE the '80s look the gold pants gives him!
