Profile: This little girl is a "myling" which in Swedish folklore is the ghost of an unwanted, unnamed baby murdered and hidden by it's mother, often under floorboards, in low stone walls, garbage dumps and swamps. It's often seen near places like these, singing about it's dreadful death and/or asking you for a name. By giving him/her one you can set the myling free.

Age: claims to be anywhere from 14 to 18, but is actually 24. She gets away with it because her human form seems agelessly young - definitely adolescent, but impossible to pin down to a specific age.
Sex: female
Orientation: bisexual. While she is clearly more attracted to women, the exact level of her preference is unclear, because she consciously avoids sexual intimacy with men. Part of this has to do with her nature as a cat, and her knowledge of cats' mating practices. She simply has a psychological aversion to heterosexual intercourse, no matter what her feelings for a particular individual.

Personality: Bimblesnork is a cat. She might have the reason of a mortal girl, but she is a cat, and considers herself a cat, even when she takes the form of a more-or-less human female. As a cat, her temperament is defined by her loyalty. She is almost doglike in her faithfulness to Joren. She follows Joren around, comes when called, and has even learned to perform tricks and play fetch. Some cats are like that.

Bimbles is also very curious, but her explorations are restrained by a strong streak of skittishness in her personality. She loves to push boundaries, but retreats at the first sign of trouble. There are many cats like that. Perhaps what is more pleasant for Joren is Bimbles's need to be social and loved. She gets along well enough with her "sisters," but prefers to spend time with Joren. She's a people cat. There are a lot of cats like that.
Bio: The story of Bimbles's early life can be found here. As she and Joren grew into women, their friendship progressed without question into a sexual relationship. It simply turned out that way without any thought, as if it was always intended to be like that. There was no courtship or even any real need for discussion. They became lovers as if it were an inevitable step, and both treat the relationship as a "given" in their lives.

Bimbles acts as Joren's main and closest bodyguard. In this capacity, she works with her four "sisters" (the other feral cats whom Joren adopted and tamed as a child; they have also become young women, and also Joren's lovers...and each other's lovers, too). The five protect Joren from the constant threats she faces as the deposed Queen of Hearts - the rightful ruler of all monsters. The sisters (particularly Bimblesnork) are able to tap into Joren's awesome power when needed; they are fully capable of protecting her from danger. Bimbles is the most important of the five. She attends Joren more or less constantly, and also has the most developed ability to utilize Joren's powers. Anyone wishing Joren harm (and there are many who do) would first have to get past the sisters - who would no longer be five young ladies, or even five cats, but five terrible feline beasts.

Personality: Fenir keeps mostly to himself. He isn't exactly shy, but he doesn't like to be around other people, and he's fairly open about it. He never reveals his true feelings, though he often signals his displeasure at such situations through sarcasm and insulting humor. He can be incredibly catty, and despite his self-imposed isolation from others, he is a keen observer who rarely misses a thing. Yet those around him often miss what he is really saying to them because it simply seems so petty.
