If anyone has decent* updo wigs in styles without a fringe (That's without bangs to those of you from the U.S. I believe) could you post pictures with details of the make/model number, please Thanks Teddy (* by "decent" I mean ones that have a natural-looking hairline as opposed to ones that look like a hat made out of hair. - Thanks)
I would like to see wigs styled in up-do's or other more formal styles. If you could list where the wig is from, and whether it came styled or is self-styled that would be great. I hope this is not a duplicate thread... I tried to run a search for similar items but couldn't find what I was looking for. I saw that there was a thread for "Updo without fringe" but I would like to see updo and styled wigs both with fringe/bangs and without.
the pink wig in the middle is a Dollga wig located at Leekeworld Its the colour Pink Cocktail. It definately is one of the fanciest wigs I've ever seen.
This wig could go a lot more formal than I'm showing it here--I really like its sleekness. Hope from Monique Gold/Jpop:
I usually put Erebos's hair in an up-do, it makes it a little easier to manage with it being so long. It's a little harder than it looks; you kind of have to finagle with the strands to keep the wig cap from showing. Half up... pardon the mess :
Two more-- This one is on the funky rather than the formal end of the spectrum; it's a mohair wig styled by Cristylee (X-treme Dolls). This is "Helene" from Jpop; with all the curly tendrils, it could easily be styled in different ways, too:
I've found that wigs made for reproduction porcelain dolls sometimes come in good up-do styles with buns. Keep an eye open for listings by jakzjewelz on e-bay - some of the updo wigs that get listed here occasionally are in BJD sizes. Teddy
