Theme Gravitation Characters and Gravitation Cosplayers

I am going to start saving for my first BJD in January 2008, and he's going to be stagepersona!Ryuichi Sakuma from the anime/manga Gravitation (he'll be a Delf Shine/60cm.) I've only seen one person's Gravitation BJDs, and I want to know if there are others out there. (Domoarigato Bakayasha Onna!)

So post your Gravitation anime BJD pics to prove to me that there are others out there!

Onna, I just LOVE your Shuichi and Yuki...in all their sizes!

Did I tell you that InuYasha's gonna help me get Tohmadoll? Hopefully I'll have him by the end of the year! *crosses fingers, toes, legs and eyes*

Sakuma Ryuichi: still a work in progress

Here are a few pics I took of Ryuichi while at Ohayocon '09 at the end of January! He still needs his Shiwoo head, but he looks SUGOI otherwise!

After taking this pic, I managed to find a better quality fur wig while at Ohayocon, but its still the wrong color.

His blue leather pants were given to me by Shuichi and his concert shirt was hand-made by Noriko, two friends from the Gravitation RP we're in together.

And hai, he is wearing rings on his new hands! I went to the very first time that Ryuichi appears in the manga and found of how many and which fingers. He's also wearing a temp earring in his loaner head, but once I get his Shiwoo head, he's getting the four permanent ones he's supposed to wear.

Just a teaser now, I still need to fix the facial gouges where he had the horrific faceplant a few weekends ago. They don't seem to show on this pic.



I really like this wig, even though I had to shrink it down when I got it [doumo arigato SKooKuM Hime for making him this inexpensive fur wig! If only you could find one in his really unusual color...]

He still needs the two pairs of Souldoll eyes he needs to have, and now that he also has his dreaming head, I'll need to find a modder and ship him off so that the eyes can be opened to look exactly like his serious ones in the TV series.

Not to mention that I'm still saving for Tohma....this time I'm not going NEAR the MP until I have all the money I need for his full set!

I finally got Ukai Noriko of Nittle Grasper! She is a beauty white (beauty green, actually ) Luts Cerberus Project Dark Elf Soo/Normal Skin Fairyland Feeple 60 Large Bust hybrid. As you can tell, Noriko's a work in progress. Its going to be fun helping her evolve from these pics to how she's supposed to look! So, I'm going to keep track.

And I'm already working on making her concert outfits.

Here are a couple of updated pics of the Gravitation Crew that I have so far! Noriko finally has a NS head, but still needs a faceup.

These pics were taken during a photoshoot with nearly all of my current dolls, one was off getting a faceup. The reason everyone looks kind of "off" is because I was taking pics on my front lawn, and I was super nervous at first but after a while, I started having so much fun that I forgot about my neighbors gawking at me.

Nittle Grasper update!

Noriko finally has a faceup, so I thought I'd show her off here as well as Ryuichi's new faceup as well. Enjoy!

A long time ago, when Ryuichi was an only doll, I was resin-sitting two of my friend's dolls while she moved. My amaryllis bloomed, and I came up with the idea of doing a Nittle Grasper photoshoot with it. Here is one of the original pics. Ryuichi was still a WIP at the time, so forgive the factory faceup and bad wig. And yes, the part of Noriko is being played by a boy.




Now that I have all of Grasper, I thought I'd do an update when my new amaryllis bloomed this year. Ryuichi is wearing a wig I made that still needs to be cut (I don't know how), and Noriko's wearing her everyday wig (I keep her "Noriko wig" for special occasions), but I LOVE this pic almost as much as the original!

EEP!

I can't believe I haven't posted pics of Shuichi yet! Shindou Shuichi is a Luts/CP Delf Elf Chiwoo. And yes, I DO have the Archer hands, but they're going to another elf I have. Shuichi's elf ears will be hidden by his wig once I find one I like. As you can tell, I have a thing about elves, even if they're supposed to be human.

As you can tell, he's definitely a WIP. So I'll keep track of his changes here in this thread for future generations so that people can see how far I went to get him to look like he should.

Here is a pic from his boxopening. It was done at a outside picnic bench. A grandma and her family were at the bench on one side, and a little kid and her family were at the other, so I had to hurry up and dress poor nekkid Shuichi. The wig is totally craptastic, but the clothes look great on him!




I got him home, and found that Noriko's Miku wig (minus the ponytails) looked better than that other wig, so he wore that for a little bit.




And now, while I find him his canon wig, he's wearing this pink one. His eyes are borrowed, he needs a faceup and of course, his wig, but its fun looking for things that will make him Shuichi!




And, of course I'm saving for Yuki-san's body. I can't wait to have them together!

Ryuichi still needs his wig worked on. He's become so serious since wearing the long hair, its a little unsettling to not have my mischievous little imp being...an imp. *shrug*

Welp, believe it or not, I'm back after being out of the hobby for a couple of years due to health issues. My health is pretty much back to normal, and I'm starting to play with my Crew again!

Poor Shuichi was in the same clothes for probably more than a year, so today I decided to change his outfit. He still is a WIP, of course, but I'm motivated to start working on his anime outfits. I have quite a bit of research to do, but I've already decided what outfit I want to work on first. This one:




It seems to be the easiest one to start working on, or, if I'm lucky, maybe I'll even be able to find the pink shirt online somewhere.

As you can see, he needs a faceup and wig. His temp wig is too pink and fur. The rest of the Gravi Group has fiber wigs, so now I'm keeping my eyes open for fiber wigs in the right shade of pink.

I'm also on the lookout for those infamous purple eyes. I even want to try and get the heart eyes for him, by either finding them for sale online or have them custom made.

I will also post updated pics of Nittle Grasper soon, and try to transfer the pics I had on here from photobucket to flickr.

Oh man, this boy is going to need some serious work!

Hi @Teseya! I'll update you about myself elsewhere, okay?

I've decided to not do Bad Luck right now, I simply don't have the room for them. Small house is small.

I'm going to focus on Shuichi for now, and then later on down the line, Yuki will finally get his body when I get the extra money. He probably has a better wardrobe than Shuichi at this point!

I wish you could show them here, I'd love to see them! Maybe if you can think of a way....

In the meantime, I need to get some extra supply money for for Shuichi's outfit. Ugh, bills suck.

So instead, I found a pleather jacket that I started to hand-sew for Ryuichi years ago and never finished. I didn't know how to make proper shirts and jackets back then, so I'm going to see if I can remember the ideas I had for completing it. Wish me luck, I'll more than likely need it!
