Sylphe, my MNF Chiwoo, is not supposed to be a jester, but my friend Tahiel swears he looks like a Harlequin in his Dollmore outfit (and I agree the outfit does look a little jester like).

 

I'm still working on my harlequin-style girl, Colombine. But in the meantime, here's a pic of her first faceup. (I'll be doing a cleaner version of the faceup when I get more MSC. ^_^)

I have a runaway Circus/Freakshow couple, they are currently hiding from the Bobby's for their trickery and thievery.
Very soon now they are going to go back and do a daring midnight rescue of the lil' Siamese twins still being exploited in the aweful travelling Freakshow..

I'm not sure if that's EXACTLY what I'm looking for, but it's the closest I can come up with to describe it. Maybe something like The Crow makeup too?

I'm looking for pictures of dolly faceups with marks or symbols (triangles, lines, tears, various doodles) around, over, or (preferably) under the eyes.

I know there are lots of beautiful faces out there that I'm just missing! XD

I'm pretty sure I've posted Colombine in the Clowns/Jesters thread, but her makeup is definitely harlequin-inspired, so it can't hurt to post her again!

 

You may want to check out some of Iplehouse's Noctarcana Circus dolls for faceup ideas. Most of their Pierrot dolls have harlequin-esque stylings.

I was thinking about a pumpkin shape around her eye, but it won't really be appropriate year-round. =/ She's kind of Halloween themed, but maybe something a little less specifically Halloween-y for her face.

I'm looking for doll outfits that are circus themed. Fantasy-ish would be cool, but over all I'm just scoping out what might be available for a near-future doll.



The EID's from the Iplehouse Noctarcana Circus theme are probably close-ish to what I'm thinking of as far as intricate circus fantasy clothing goes. If you guys have any photos (and their sources) to share, please, please do! I'm sure I'm not the only one interested!

I'm not picky for what I would like to see here, as I am just interested in what other people have done in this area in general c:!! I would be so, so, so grateful.

Hi there everyone! I've recently bought a MNF Soo Dark Elf head, and I've decided that I want to give her a dark carnival look. Something kind of like sugar skull, but more The Crow type?

It is the Dollheart outfit. You can see my WooSoo wearing it a few posts above. And then my Orijean is wearing the collar a few posts below. (Same outfit. These are outrageously difficult to find. With the shoes.)

 

I'm looking for pictures of any faceup depicting the harlequin, jester and Pierrot styles. Anything that would look jester-y and circus-like, the more colorful and crazy the better!
