Current Story: Liesl Jaeger (named after the oldest of the Von Trapp girls and a delicious beverage from Germany ^.^ is a half Japanese, half German student at a major university in the Tokyo area. Due to an accident at the age of three, her right eye has been replaced with a bionic eye developed by her father. It seems to help her to "see" what may be missed by other engineers.
While playing her guitar and contemplating her goal at university, a loud boom redirects her attention to the "Department of Experimental Physics" building, where she finds a frustrated professor, in a white lab coat, trying to figure out what went wrong with his latest mechanical experiment.
"I believe your error was here." Liesl explained to the frazzled PhD and she pointed to the offending circuit.
Though the professor was skeptical, he followed the foreign student's advice and with her help, fixed the problem. He was so pleased that her offered her an internship assisting him in his lab. She accepted.
This is the beginning of the story of Liesl Jaeger and Ichiro Hirano.

Personality: bouncy at times, can be moody at times, the rest I'm still figuring out. Sometimes she acts like she's not scared of anything, a trait I guess she picked up during her time as a ship.
Likes: being at sea and anything associated to it, ships, travelling, seeing the world, meeting people from all around the world, reading.
Dislikes: being forced to stay in one place for too long, hot sunny days, nasty people, never being able to go out to sea again, the fact that I live too far away from the sea.
Birthday: 20th September and she can't remember when she exactly escaped from the ship.

Backstory: [this will probably sound like it has nothing to do with Ealasaid but it does.] The Queen Elizabeth 2 (aka QE2) was named and launched on the 20th of September 1967. At that moment, the ship's sentience was awakened but it was trapped within the ship waiting for the right moment to escape. The right moment came in early 1987 during the ship's conversion from steam engine to diesel engines. It was at that time the ship's spirit escaped from her "prison" and became a mass of sentient energy. This mass of energy however had no where to go. It hung around the ship waiting for the right person to follow.

In December of 2007, I had to privilege to sail on the QE2 and the mass of sentient energy ended up following me home to Singapore. For almost eight months, the sentient energy hung around me until I was preparing to bring my doll home and it decided to make its presence known. It introduced itself as Ealasaid and said that she had been looking for a tangible form. It was then agreed that Ealasaid could possess my doll. The night I brought my doll home, Ealasaid took over the doll.

To make matters simple, Ealasaid essentially possessed the resin body of the doll. I have to provide the eyes for her to see out of and she accepts whatever wig I get for her, as long as it looks good.

She's only been in her resin body for slightly over a month so she's still re-learning how to live in our modern world.
