I thought this would be a fun topic :]

I'm planning on a doll with a blonde side ponytail but I'm not -too- sure on how to go about it. I've got some ideas but I thought it would be cute to see what you guys came up with. Post your dolls rocking the side ponytail!

Well, Leekeworld sells several different styles of wig extensions, so you could simply buy a blonde wig from them, along with whichever type of extension you would like, and only clip one onto the side~

Not sure they are ponytails, more bunches, but I have styled some wigs and made some dreadfalls that do that sort of thing.

This one was just tying some of his copious dreads into two bunches with a couple of spare dreads.



This again was just tying the hair in bunches. You need a thick wig to do this, to avoid bald spots when you lift the hair up. This was a handmade pelt wool wig, so lots of fibre in there.



Dread falls on a short fake fur wig. I made them with wool roving and various bits of stuff that were lying around, then tied them to the wig. You could do something similar for a high ponytail, I would think, but use hair wefts or a bunch of kanekalon.
