History:Izayoi was born in 1586 in a small superstitious village.She was born into a family of 5, including herself, her older sister, her older brother, and her mother and father. Her father was later killed when she was seven years old, which forced her older brother to enlist in the village's militia in order to support the women. He was never seen by the family again. When she turned 15, her village chose her to be sacrificed to their gods in order to win the bloody war. Izayoi was taken from her home and given to an array of different care-takers. She was molded, proded, scolded, taught, and disciplined to be the perfect sacrifice.When the day came of her sacrifice, word came of the enemy's forces encroaching on their village.She was placed on her platform in the center square as the villagers began to gather around, despite the danger of oncoming attack. The raid on her village before the ceremony could commence, and she, along with the rest of her village, were slaughtered. After an unmeasured stay in Hell, she was accidentally summoned back to life by an inexperienced priest. He then tried to flee, resulting in his death. Izayoi dropped her given name and took up the name Arkana.

Personality/history: Still learning that. She's rather quiet and introspective. Her family comes from serious old money, but her parents were often absent and distant. Victoria is an artist. She creates multimedia sculptures using mainly wood and stone carving and blown glass. The primary theme of her work is metamorphosis and the ability to recreate oneself and surroundings. She's heavily into body modification and the spiritual aspects of it. The large cutting on her back is a memorial for her twin sister who died earlier this year, it's a sort of cutting away a piece of herself, the absence of what's now angelic.
