mini metal clips, assorted colours in a packet. very, very cheap ^^
got it from an accesory shop in Chinatown.

 

Not the best pic (it's a faceup comparison pic, and I've got their hair pulled back so I can show off the blushing on the tips of Thistle's ears). But it's one of the few where I'm actually showing them wearing hair accessories. lol

The butterfly clip in Piper's hair is from Claire's Botique, and came in a pack of six, 2 of each color. You can barely see it, but her hair is pulled up by a tiny brown clip, as well, which came from Weis (a grocery store).

The little clip in Thistle's hair is something I've had for ages. It probably came from Claires, or maybe Kmart or Weis, but I'm not sure anymore.

This clip is part of the outift that came with my pullip when I got her ages ago. There were two of them, but I lost it >.o

 

XD I have too many hair accessories for my doll, me being the hair accessory fan that I am. Here are some:


Crown clip from a local hair accessory store.


Butterfly hairclaw from the aforementioned shop.


Kanzashi from my own personal collection (yes, I collect those things). Can't remember where from.



Kanzashi by Japanese maker Crazy Berry (Wild Berry now?). I bought this second hand. The previous owner bought it from Y!J. I apologise for the blurriness of the second picture, but that's about the only close shot I have of it right now. The plain hairclaw is useful for holding such accessories in place.


I'm not sure if its too visible, but there's a big floppy ribbon headpiece thing on his head.

 

I really like the use of that butterfly hairclaw, erushi! ^_^ And NyuNyu, your girl looks so pretty with that silver butterfly in her hair.

Here's my contribution, just a piece of ribbon (I like collecting ribbon). People say this pic reminds them of Minnie Mouse.

this doll is my friend's doll. i think she gets *many* of her accessories from Claire's, especially the flower clip shown. not sure about the silver coin ribbons.

I found these super tiny snap clips at Walmart once, they were in the little girls hairclip section. I've never been able to find any this small ever again.

I have a bunch of these tiny butterfly clips floating around too (sorry I dont have a pic after she has a faceup). I got these for like, 10 cents a piece out of a bucket at a local wig and weave store.

And slightly larger snap clips that I glued beads on to match an outfit I made for a swap. This is the smallest size I can find now...I wish I could find more of the super tiny ones.

 

I found the ones below at Claire's some years ago, the red-plain hair-clips are only about an inch.
The flower ones are about half an inch (or maybe smaller). I believe Claire's still carries the small plain
clips but I haven't gone there in a while (no longer interested in hair accessories for my mini-boy
and I don't wear any ^__^;;.). Tata's Paradise has some plain metal hair-clips that seem to be about the
smallest I've seen in that style (probably just about an inch as well), pretty tempting but I no longer use them on my dolls. XD

Lol! I didn't even see them on your friend's doll, they look so small (she must be larger-sized doll, my doll is only a mini).
Glad to hear they are still available at Claire's, they are very small and make great accessories for smaller dolls as well as larger ones. (:
