BJD Character Concept: Chame

Another of my ball-joint doll character concepts.

Name: Chame Shirotsu(her name means 'mischief' or 'playfulness' in Japanese, which suits her personality)

Gender: Female

Age: 12

Occupation: Baku (nightmare eater)...that thing on her hip is actually her mask

Species: Human/Baku (Japanese monster which eats nightmares)

Likes: Eating, playing pranks, good jokes, the color pink, frilly dresses, anything in the Lolita style

Dislikes: Her friends being unhappy, moody 'emo' people, the color black, being hungry, raw food, being bullied

Background: Like Miyu, Chame Shirotsu was born under a 'strange star'...one which, in this case, gave her the powers of a baku.
This ability robbed the infant of the privilege of eating food normally, as she can only get fed through devouring bad dreams.
From a young age, young Chame knew her stuff about dreams and nightmares, and started her own 'service' of eating the nightmares of others...for free, since they were already paying her with good 'meals'.
While working, she dons a fancy costume and mask made by her mother. Despite her helpful efforts, she is still ridiculed by the locals due to her condition.

As she grew older (and bolder), she started venturing out into the open world (with her parents' approval).
It was then she chanced upon Askar, whose nightmares she found really tasty. Still, she felt sorry for her the plight of her 'big brother', despite the fact she gets her tummy filled thanks to his messed-up life.
From then on, she secretly 'lived' in his room, where she got more insight on what the world was really like. Still, the little pre-teen kept her optimism.

When Akura later chances upon Askar and frees him, Chame tags along to live together with them and Miyu.
In the house, she is known as the 'annoying little sister' who enjoys pranking the others and just basically irritates the heck out of them.

Sometimes, when referring to herself, she accidentally uses the term 'Baka' (which means 'idiot' in Japanese) instead of her species.
Since nobody bothers to correct her (they think it suits her very well), when she finds out the truth, she is known to fly into a nightmarish tantrum.
