    Reason for choice:
He was my first doll. I wanted a large doll because of their presence, but it had to be beautiful. I searched every sculpt available at the time to find the perfect one.
    Best Points:
His sculpt is very rare and made in a small batch.
    Worst Points:
His face is a bit too asymmetrical and it bothers me at times. His neck is too big so I need to sand part of the head to fit it properly.

Ivan is a sad and tragic character. The basis for his character is a Frankensteinian monster. He's much more handsome than Shelley's version, but still a good mess. He is reanimated and has a very prominent autopsy scar. Aside from that, he can heal quite well. He is actually vegetarian, and is a great chef. He longs for affection and companionship. Centuries after his creation, he gets along in the modern world, but a few habits die hard. He is loving and kind, but has not healed entirely from past trauma. He has a dark past, but has recently made friends and even a potential love that together are helping him heal and grow.

oh, I love the asymmetry! it gives him such a realistic look! Not a so-perfect-it's-boring dolly look, but a real, real character! (he reminds me of my fav bassman too, so I just can't help but love <3
ps. if he dyed his hair blond and had another few years to recover completely... he could look totally like the Creature. It's the 1930s Hollywood that made ppl believe he was extremely ugly... while he was not, he just had this something uncanny about himself. Something that people afraid of realistic dolls also notice... so he looks totally realistic to me, really <3

I like your spin on Frankenstein's monster; his visage does not repel, rather it's his inner darkness that threatens his ability to assimilate. Very interesting. Also this is a very beautiful sculpt. The wig color and cut are complementary. Thanks for sharing.
