Elfie is a nine year old girl, with a twin brother called Bracken. She's sweet and friendly, and not adverse to adventures. She and her brother can move freely (although not always intentionally) between the world of the Victorian nursery they share with their siblings, half-siblings, and cousins, and the Elf Wood, from there they can get to almost anywhere, including,on occasion, the modern world.
