Reason for choice:

The head was originally on an EID woman body, The beauty of the DT sculpt lead me to buy the body and shell a whole new character with it.

Best Points:

The body's sculpt has amazing lines that look good in anything, under any condition. once sueded/wired it poses fantastically.

Worst Points:

DT is a no frills company and therefor ships their dolls with minimal seam sanding (although they aren't bad) and strung fairly loose and they need to be restrung/ sueded and even wired to achieve any level of poseability.
The dolls also lack a hip joint which limits some poses.
At a hair under 70cm, this doll is a pain to find clothing or shoes for.

The Dollstown body is a work of art, it may not have the most advanced engineering behind it, but it what it lacks in engineering it makes up for in sheer beauty. With it's clean lines and though stylized-realistic sculpting, it's a very realistic sculpt.
It does have the benefit of jointed feet that allow for flat or high-heel foot wear without having to change the shoes, the downside is with her realism comes larger than average feet for a doll at her size making finding footwear troublesome.
